Unhappy ? on foliar spraying, need help

ok i have'nt been using foliar spary. so i thought i'd try it and i mixed sum st,hygrozime f1 and the 3 part advance nutes all on a 16th to 1 scale. not 1/4 or 1/2 but 16th and ph'd it and i sprayed them down all seemed fine. but 1 the biggest one at that started drooping soon after i sprayed it. is this the norm? or did i over do it? well i did that after i moved that 1 plant to a new res but all the same nutes so what sound like it would make it do this the spray or moving to new res???

did you do it during light hours ? If so it's burning them. like a magnifing class. I you want to feed this way , only during dark and must dry before lights come on. This will also promote mould and is not done in inside hydro much.

Fine mist . . .

You need to 'atomize' the spray, so use the finest nozzle you can to 'mist' the plants. Water has weight, so too much can cause plants to droop some, plus as stated above big drops can concentrate light on small spots causing light burn.

You can mist in the light, just do so early or late in the day while temps are low ('70s) and the stomata are open.

Lastly, if your plants are doing well as is, foliar feeding has a very limited impact but adds risk to the grow. I would reserve it for helping correct imbalances when they occur, or to help with drought.

RULE #1: Less is more.

Good luck.

It's fine if they go limp after you give em a nice shower, they are more weighted down... mine always perk up within like twenty four hours anyhow, so no worries if that's the case for you.

I also use foilar sprays to address problems mostly, though I've been hearing about this folar spray that makes plants bushier, I'm not really sold on that just yet.

That said, raise your lights when you spray for five-six hours so and you shouldn't have a problem with burning.
