so I'm putting two plants (that I just found out are female, wOOt) in 5 gallon DWC buckets that will go inside an Ikea wardrobe.

Should I drill holes in the bottom to feed the air tube through? or just feed it through the top and have the mesh pot that holds the plant sit all wonky?

also, how close to the bottom of the mesh pot does the water need to be? I would figure CLOSE.

Also, any good formulas for a 5 gal DWC bloom?

will i am not a 100% sure but at the begging you raise your water almost to the basket ...for the air tube, ether way will work but from the top u don't have to worry about it leaking.

You should drill the hole right underneath the lid of the bucket on the side. That way, it won't leak, and it won't get in the way of your net pot.
