Just got my PH meter and TDS meter in the mail today.

Was using the dropper PH kit before and had it pretty close to 6.0. Now with the digital meter got it right at 5.8.

Checked my TDS for the first time to discover it was at 1100 for my little veglings (1st week)! Fuck! I thought they looked a little burned but was waiting for my meter. Anyway I checked my base TDS of my tap water (300 ppm) and added just enough nutes for 600 ppm.

Sounds right; right?

You shouldn't be giving any nutes to your plants if they are only one week old.

If I were to grow cannabis, I would only do so to supply myself and my close friends. Doing this would take myself and my friends out of harms way by knowing the source of our cannabis, as well as take hundreds of thousands of dollars off the black market annually. It would also lower the demand of black market cannabis, and would ultimately help keep cannabis out of the hands of minors.

They're not a week old, they are a week or two into veg.

how much was your meter?

The TDS was around 35 and the PH was 50. Find them on Amazon from HMI Digital. I talked to the company and got a lot of really good info.
