I grew some NLX not to long ago and had a great harvest. I have to tell you that the weed was difininitly better than the old school SCwaaaag. I was told this strain was a cross between white widow and northern lights. I think I might have to disagree with that because I just dont believe the potency of the bud, even the looks of the bud were the same of that of WW and NL which Ive smoked both. Kind of makes me wonder if these seed banks are really sending you authentic seeds of a particular strain you buy based off a photo and small blurb on what you can expect. Yeah photos and hype may be convincing enough for one to make the purchase but is one really getting what they paid for. What do you all think?

Are you confident that you grew the seeds to their full potential? You know they say 95%+ of computer problems turn out to be user error.

If these seedbanks didn't send what people pay for, the word would get out quickly!

I am pretty certain that I grew these beans to their greatest potential. I took all the information from this site and applied it all the way down to examining the trichs. I used good nutes, have a meter for ppm and Ph. I think the herbs were good but to say it was WW and NL cross I have my doubts. Just my opinion.

Post this in the Strains forum and see what people say there. I've found that the people that frequent that forum are really dialed into seeds and genetics.

Cannabis genetics are a huge thing, especially this day in age. The seed companies you are ordering from have been around a while and they focus on creating strains, good seeds, and nice buds (wish I had their job!). When you pay money for seeds, you are getting the real deal as long as its a reputable company (Mandala, Dutch Passion, Greenhouse, etc.). I got mine from Dutch Passion and starting the third week of flower, they are already growing into nice thick buds. I don't believe I could achieve this kind of growth with any old bag seed.

The problem is that different weed you are comparing it to probably got called a lot of different things in order to sell better, so if you didn't buy the seeds and grow the plant or know who did, chances are its actually something different than what its being called. This is just yet another one of the many reasons to grow your own.

If I were to grow cannabis, I would only do so to supply myself and my close friends. Doing this would take myself and my friends out of harms way by knowing the source of our cannabis, as well as take hundreds of thousands of dollars off the black market annually. It would also lower the demand of black market cannabis, and would ultimately help keep cannabis out of the hands of minors.

I got the beans from Alien. They seem to have a good following. The transaction was nice and smooth and I got the beans in a timely fashion. The thing that places doubt with me on the particular strain I grew is that they were freebies. They were marked NLX. I actually ordered 3 strains they were 1. Jack Herer "Black Jack", 2. Sweet Tai and Sweet Afgan. I wanted to get my feet wet first so I grew the freebies first. Dont get me wrong the herb was really good. I have started a Jack Herer bean about 10days in now and its going as planned. Hopefully, it will will be a lot better. We will see...
