Chances are it's the meter and not the paper.
Do you have cleaning and calibrating solutions for your digital? PC

My pH meter is a piece. It goes out of whack by like .5 within 3 days. Definitely get some 7.0 reference solution (usually by the pH related stuff in the store) and calibrate your meter. Also, you should calibrate at least once weekly to make sure you are getting an accurate measurement.

The above post is fictional and should in no way be taken as truth. If I were to grow cannabis, I would only do so to supply myself and my close friends. Doing this would take myself and my friends out of harms way by knowing the source of our cannabis, as well as take hundreds of thousands of dollars off the black market annually. It would also lower the demand of black market cannabis, and would ultimately help keep cannabis out of the hands of minors. |

Liquid Karma is a dark reddish brown. Maybe the LK is affecting the strips in a weird way. Reaper would probably know more about that - I think he's been using strips for a long time. ...Or you could get a liquid test kit for about $8.95 and really drive yourself crazy.

Your problem is most certainly due to Liquid Karma. You will not be able to rely on paper or even liquid pH testers with even a moderately-colored solution.
You should also definitely calibrate your digital pH tester. My tester doesnt fluctuate more than .1 over the 2 weeks in between calibrations, but I'm lucky in that respect. I've seen that will change over a full point in just 4-5 days... so check it often until you figure yours out. |
