I used to do a change every two weeks, but the pros (rhizome) told me to do it every week so I've been doing that. Pump all the water out, scrub everything with hot water, and put it back together again. Its a bitch but its something you should do if you are taking your setup seriously.

The above post is fictional and should in no way be taken as truth. If I were to grow cannabis, I would only do so to supply myself and my close friends. Doing this would take myself and my friends out of harms way by knowing the source of our cannabis, as well as take hundreds of thousands of dollars off the black market annually. It would also lower the demand of black market cannabis, and would ultimately help keep cannabis out of the hands of minors. |

Yeah, you can't top off your nutes and here's why: You start the week with 800 ppm and 3 days later you are down to 700 ppm. What nutrients were depleted and what weren't? So you top off another 100 ppm of all the nutes and some nutes are now overstrong and others are still under.
I don't know about a scrub down every week. But full water change and nutes weekly is average. Rez temp is good under 80 degrees. |
