Aeroponic's, HATCH Style
To All That Are Interested!!
I have been using Aeroponic's for the last 10 year's, I did alot of research back many Moon's ago, Built many trial model's Till I was satisfied.
This Model is easy to connect with many or stand alone. Easy to interchange part's, @ maintain, With great root structure's and plant developement.
Hope this can help any-one or give new idea's to the table. Thank's!....Later

Budcronicindo, Hey What's UP?!!!.......,Yes I use in-line, @ submersilbe pump's, I like high velocity pump's, 1-better mist @ oxygen mix. I also have several screen's @ filter's to keep debris out of the mister's. Yes they do clog ever now and then, but can go many month's with-out any problem's.
Thank's for stopping in, Here is some pictures of some of my pump's.........Later

This is a great photo thread and I hope everyone takes note of the different lids- Hatch is doing what everyone who is interested in efficient use of available light should do, by arranging the lids so that there is a continuous canopy at all life stages, and no light is 'lost' to the surface of the tubs.

Nice set up. Im in the middle of building an aeroponic set up myself.
How does your 1/4" tubing attach to the 1/2" pvc exactly? Ive been using brass fittings but they are expensive and it takes a couple to go from 1/2" to a 1/4" hose. Yours looks like the 1/4" tubing hooks right into some pvc. It look much less expensive, are they leakproof?

Yes they are leakproof!!
Look at the first group of pic's, click on the last pic. They are a 3/4" cap & I drill a 1/8" hole tap/thread chaser & screw the threaded base of the riser's in. Ya this is alot less expensive than brass.
Hope that help's??......Good Luck........Later

Hey Hatch I really like your setup, and it has inspired me to build one of my own. I have a few questions though.
1.What do you use as a reservoir, and what kind of hose do you use?
2.What kind of pump is that and whats the PSI or GPH on it??
3.How many gallons of water does the system need?
4. Whats your pvc tube size? 1/2 inch?
I looked at Lowes, and I think I can build the system for $120 which is reasonable. Keep up the good works!!!

A-1.) They are 20gal. & 30gal Res. I got them at the Hydro Store. The Hose is 3/4 nylon braded clear Hose. You can get at Lowe's.
A-2.) Hydo-Farm, & Mister are the name Brand I have, They are 1,400 GPH, They make a awesome mist.
A-3.)That kind of up to what, where, & when, in as how many Pod's, Plant's, ect...ect....
A-4.) I use 3/4, there are alot of fitting's that have Thread's, that work great, & I don't have to reduce up or down.
I think from container to mister's, working, each of My Pod's are about $25.00.
Thank's for Hanging out!!!!!
