seedlings

Im about to start my first hydro gro and was wondering after germination should i plant the seeds directly into the growing medium or should i start them in soil and transfer them once they have grown a little

how did you germ them? i've seen ppl just place rapid rooter plugs with seedlings straight into hydro setups. just dont use nutes for a bit and be easy with the lights at first

oh yea. have u germed the seeds yet? my personal favorite for hydro set ups is to germ in rockwool cubes. looks cleaner than shoving a rapid rooter plug in hydroton or other medium. but its just my preference. i really cant say one is better or worse than the other.

secretgarden is on a distinguished road
I've use rock wool cubes not only for the spourt but for the whole germnation process. Just keep it as moist as you would the paper towel. I posted a couple pics of how they looked. Plus side is no transplanting stress or risk of the paper towel drying out.
