Anyone ever try ordering seeds to the U.S. and how fail safe is it? I have been using bag seed forever and would be nice to know what strain I have been growing. Thanks for any info in advance.

I recently ordered a few seeds from the netherlands without any problems. They showed up in only like 7 or 8 days. Ive germed 3 of them so far by putting them in a cup of water and stuck it away in a warm dark place and all of them have popped late in the second day. I want to try some other strains after this grow so I will probably be ordering from them again. Stealthy,quick, and healthy so I give them an A+. I order White Widow btw.

Go For it worse case you get a letter from customs saying if you want your illegal shit come claim it!!! Or it is worded similar!!! LOL Really though I have not heard any bad bad storied like DEA knocking down doors...Just do not order a lot of $$$ worth because if you loose the batch it will not be a bad hit... I had a cop come to my door today and tell me that i ordered seeds and that it was a felony and he could take me to jail right then ( he didnt) But it still scared the crap out of me enough to not order seeds ever again!

i would think that if you didnt order a shit load of seeds, or didnt order often, no one would be willing to spend the tax dollars trying to find and prosecute some "loser growing a plant in his basement". If they are going to use their long arm, I would think it would be for the dumbass that ordered enough to grow a forest of various strains.

I had problems getting them from the UK but Netherlands has always been golden. Just order to an address other than the op...

I forgot your all cops and know exactly what they do when something like this happened?. We only meant, your're the first person to ever post a situation like this. In the 3+ years of reading Overgrow, ICMag and Cannabis.com; no one ever mentioned being hassled by LEO for non-delivery of seeds. Very strange.

Just playing... but Trance, you gotta see why people are reacting like this. While CanCom wants EVERYONE to share their stories, we do have problems with people that just sign up to spread misinformation, in hopes that it will discourage members from doing certain things, like growing or ordering products online. The majority of smokers are naturally skeptical... so cut us some slack Many people on this forum also live with parents, relatives, or friends that may not agree 100% with their decision to grow... therefore if someone found internet history of seed sites, a call may have been made to police to set you straight. We just don't know. I think the main frustration people are having, is that you have been to other threads telling people your story, but offering little additional information that would help us understand WHY it all happened. Stories of experience are great, but if WE can't learn from those mistakes... they are of no use to the community, and just spark confusion and panic. It would be like claiming that a particular strain is tainted because you broke out into hives or found mold in the buds. Seriously, EVERYBODY here wants you to be safe and enjoy the boards just like EVERYONE else. You deserve that opportunity, just like anyone else. But we need to know the facts... have you ordered before, have you grown before, are you an open advocate of Cannabis, do you smoke indiscriminately with strangers, have angry ex-girlfriend/boyfriend/roommate/dealer, recently informed parents, etc...
We are ALL friends here...... and until we do actually fully understand this particular situation... I think we should all honor another members word.

Your right bro! I didnt think about it like that. But i dont think any of you are thinking about it from my point. I join a great site, see other people ordering seeds with no problem, I have a problem, I let people know, and insted of a thanks for the heads up i get a NO WAY. Im not telling people they cant order seeds. All i said was beware and then i told my story.

But i did just a read a story that stinkyattic posted talkin about almost the exact same thing happening. I dont know how to send you to that thread cuz yes im very new to this site but the title is something about ordering pollen to the us.

The smallest of small towns in Arkansas. Me and my girl were just talking about that because id really like to figure this out. There is no way im just the most unlucky guy to ever order seeds and belong to this site. There are just so many inspectors examining the mail. During certain times of the year, there are peaks in the amount of mail - Xmas being the largest. I would (if I were ever to order seeds) plan my order to coincide with one of the peaks! More mail = better chances. Just a matter of the odds!

Also, no one thinks anything of you getting package or thick "card" around Xmas. Your mail carrier is just trying to get rid of his/her load ASAP- no time to look at anything unusual! So around Xmas, unless the return address reads "Skunky's Superior Sativas" , the odds are with you!

Go to the DR of Chronic. They are decreet and carry many bands. Ordered 5 times with no prob's. Lost ten strains that would make a grown man cry but I know where they still are. Just waiting for me to order.

What places in vancouver?? Amsterdam cafe, 420 lounge? I went up there and the only marijuana influenced places were those?? Then again i didnt look around to much...

u know in a small town people may talk alot about little things. little things like the mailman can tell the sheriff about that one guy who got a package with yellow stripe that said the package has been opened by customs and that his package came from netherlands, so then the cop who aint got more important shit to do during the day comes knockin

I really doubt local police will ever be officially involved in such cases until given a warrant and having a request from top to investigate it...

customs and at the next levels postal inspector general and at the very worst case DEA will be informed in very very rare situations that i am yet to hear about, none of which involves the local patrol officer... not at least alone and in the manner he came to u

good thing is, when something like that happens, at least u can be sure nothing serious will happen, like, i would assume the guy wouldn't walk up to me and tip me off if they was gonna raid my place overnight!
