is it safe to use abs pipe for nft
I was contemplating using abs pipe for an nft application. And was just wondering if anyone knew if the abs was safe to grow in... If anybody has got any Ideas please feel free to chime in.. Thanx

The material is fine but your liquid distribution won't be. Round chambers tend to be hard to get right because of the varying water depths. If you go pipe nft style, use SQUARE vinyl or PVC porch post sheathing. Link:
Vinyl Porch Post -Bufftech PVC Plastic Structural Posts Plain square 5x5" tube, cut 4" holes, hang 4" net pots in them. Also check out vertical NFT cascading over hydroton. It's much cheaper to build. Example: Modular Containerized Vertical NFT, take II... Stinky kinda likes the Darkside

Thanx for Chiming in Stinky, and so quick like...
I only asked about the abs cuz I've got some sittin around. The 5 x 5 square would be perfect but to much $ for me right now. I'm on the ghetto growin plan. But I've learned so much from you in your posts helping others and I thank you emensly. I've got clones veggin in 3 inch net pots sittin in the lid of a diy ebb n flow system. And was contemplating building a nft for flowering them but not sure yet. The roots sure seem to like this setup... So r u back at it stinky I know you moved recently.. anyways thanks for the help and blessing me with your knowledge... Later D
