Advanced Nutrients Calculator ... Thoughts?

I found this nutrient calculator for advanced nutrients products:
nutrient calculator

Would it be good to follow a system like this or is it a bunch of crap.

Notice too that there are different nutrient bases you can select, what are advantages and disadvantages of using the different systems

I've used and I think it's one of the best out there. You can set it for metric/american, size of rez. Strength, etc.

You can even call them for recommendations.

I agree. I have been using Adv Nuts for about three years now. THey are incredible!!! A little more to invest in up front, but what isn't that is better than the rest? They are GREAT! YOu can call tech support with ANY queston, or just to come up with ideas. NO charge, just a great company trying to help us all out.

The calculator suggests so many products, it seams like a lot of the products overlap on what they provide. If i were to buy just micro, grow, bloom, big bud and something like voodoo juice would all the amounts stay constant, or would they have to adjust for the other missing products?

I guess my main question is what are the essentials and what can be left out? Cuz to buy their whole micro bloom setup, as the calculator says, it costs somewhere around $700. That seems pretty pricey.

All you really need is a base mute from AN and Cal/Mag, Big Bud, and Overdrive. Final flush too. You will be happy. There is a way to just input the calculator with only the products you want to use not the whole line.

Mondo Pro Shop

Good Luck!

$700? Seems like a lot. You are probably not factoring correctly, like buying gallons of each when some you only need liters or less.

In any event, you can just ignore the products you don't want to use, or you can use their "High Yield Formula" in the calculator.

I don't use AN anymore, I use technaflora, but I've used it in the past. I think some things are marketing hype.

Ya the $700 comes from when you just press purchase in the calculator without changing anything. I think it is all a marketing scheme.

I just wanted to make sure that the amounts were not changed when the extra products were added. (example: if you take out big bud will the micro, grow, bloom amounts change?)

But PlantHeadJ Mondo link solves the problem. Thanks guys that is a nice calculator.

Ys 700 is a lot, but this is the best stuff that I have ever come across. It IS the way if you can afford it. Made without compromise for the BEST and LARGEST crop ever. Industrial/Commercial version, if you will.
