this is going to be implemented for my 3rd grow under a 600 watt HPS alongside a professionally made 4-plant DWC ordered online (Refer to 1st journal in sig)

I basically had some 2 liter bottles laying around, a little and this is what came to mind

The pumps I've had so I figure I better put them to use

for my 4-plant DWC, I will be using a 35 watt air pump while the 2-plant DIY Revanche DWC will be using tiny tiny (probably 1-2 watt) air pumps

One problem will be the close proximity of the two plants

any suggestions? warnings? I need all the feedback I can get!

It fits nicely because of the flexibility of the 2 liter bottle

I figure you can probably use a CD tower case as well to fit 3 but thats pushing it :\

First you gotta get 2 containers one smaller than the other to fit inside the bigger (pic1)

chop off the tops (pic2)

cut the bottoms of the smaller bottles to let air bubbles in (pic3)
and fill with hydroton

Secure pump tubing with some tape (pic4)

Set your rockwool cube on top (pic5)

Now this is a very very lazy way to do this... actually...

I haven't even tried it myself yet... but refer to my sig for my journal which will include these!

First off I'm not flaming, anybody who can make anything deserves respect.

But I don't see the point in the 2 liter bottles, is that where the germination is taking place?

If you can make this set up why not just make it a little bigger and save your money on that professional grade model?

its so i can pull out the smaller bottles and change the water

and yes the seed goes directly on top of the rockwool cube

I already have the model that I purchased

like I said, I was a little lightbulb came on in my head to use stuff I had laying around

I'm just demonstrating the simplicity of a setup with household items
