Run Cannazyme in your system.
Keep room humidity down (can be hard in hydro if you can't control evap). Avoid letting plants get large enough that the root mass becomes thick and tangled. If aero gave you problems, try a different configuration such as DWC or ebb n flow.

Yea i think the problem was i let my plants get too big, roots got tangled, and i didnt flush my resovoir which probably made the nutrients build up and mess up the ph, also i never cleaned it or scrubbed it, im guessing thats where the algae and the mold came from

good someone started this thread.we have just had a similar experience in the cellar.we had some nice indica(not sure what kind)thick shit though it was in flood/drain hydro ph and nutes were all on point then switched to 12/12 light cycle and in about 10 days later we seen some yellowin on the plants ans on the bottom leaves had gray/brown spots.i never growed plants in a cellar before so i left it go.LOL well the next day it looked much worse i mean i looked like it was cursed,i honestly could not beleive my eyes in only 24 hrs like 1/4 the bottom canopy was brown/grayish spots and some leaves had dropped.
we had a 400 hps for lighting.day 3,4,5,6,7 they continued to die fast.we had no humidity gauge in the cellar just a temp.i decided after some thought that i had underestimated the humid air.i planned on buying a sulphur burning once the buds set but it never really got that far.the plants dropped all the main brack leaves and died over 1-2 weeks i misted them with a product called safers it has sulphur in it but it didnt save them. my question is will a dehumidifier correct the problem?after we got a humidity meter we found out it was 80%-100% in the cellar. i had read about using a doktor doom fogger . will a 40pint dehumidifier prevent this disaster from repeating itself again? |

a good flushing with a hydrogen peroxide solution kills the bacteria and algae, plus gives the roots an oxygen rush ... I use 2-4 ounces per gallon ...

I use Super Oxy H2O2 35%. 2oz. of it in my 70gal rez every flush(10 days). It keep algue down and delivers more oxygen to root. Also keep all tray surfaces, pots included light tight- cover with small pieces of panda-plastic.
