Ok recently a friend of mine was caught with only 2 sad looking tiny plants but when caught they said he was caught for 'hence that over used word' Cultivation of cannabis and was running a farm So my question is how many is needed to be classed as a farm ???
I have 2 Orchids so i must be running an Orchid farm oh and i have 3 venus fly traps so i must also be runing a venus fly trap farm not to mention that i also have 2 tickle me plants so i must be running a tickle me plant farm as well, hmm should i go on cos i have many many plants in my home. Wow so many farms in one small appartment
Also why do they 'always' use words like 'Cultivation' and 'Farm' when it comes to cannabis LOL
The house next to me has a lot of dandilions in their lawn so they must be Cultivating Dandilions in their dandilion farm

One. It only takes one live plant to be cultivating. They use words like that because that is the way the laws they have made word it. Makes for more felonies charges. Also more fines. Let's see that's posession, cultivating, processing, with intent to sell and deliver. Our laws are screwed up whack.

Grow a good plant and get high.

My question is, how did this friend get caught if all he had was 2 sad looking plants? Usually people get caught because they either tell the wrong person or try to sell it for gross profits. Both of those are general no-no's when it comes to not getting your grow busted.

If I were to grow cannabis, I would only do so to supply myself and my close friends. Doing this would take myself and my friends out of harms way by knowing the source of our cannabis, as well as take hundreds of thousands of dollars off the black market annually. It would also lower the demand of black market cannabis, and would ultimately help keep cannabis out of the hands of minors.

My question is, how is this a "hydroponics" question? I guess I missed what method he was using.

not sure how he got caught but i know only him and me who knew about them and i know i wouldnt say nothing to anyone eccept now on here cos its too late. he thinks the same as me, they use equipment to look through buildings.
ive also heard that police use dog walkers and go around housing estates with sniffer dogs looking for people who grow, now 100% sure but its what ive heard

As far as looking through building, the cops don't have the money for that. Infered can spot heat and that can be a clue but insulation takes care of that.

Oh and do you know a dogs sense of smell for drugs are only good for about 2 hours a day.
The cops don't have the money to just walk neibourhoods looking for shit to bust you with.

If they came with a warrant this is how it happened. SOMEONE NARCED him out. Otherwise they would of came for a knock and talk and wanted your permission to search or said they could smell it and had probable cause to search.

My guess is some one, even just a neighbour saw it and turned him in. I learned the hard way tooo. Just show one person and your on the list if they get busted and want a way out.

Please tell us how they went about busting him and I will tell you what happened.

im not sure completely how it all happened, he just told me on the fone that they came to investigate. when i talk to him next i will find out more details. btw we are in the UK so laws may differ here
