what leafs can i trim off of the plant there are too many filling out the grow room can i take off the big ones?

that's up to you fred. some do it and would say it's no big deal and some argue that the fan leaves are the sugar-factories and should just be tucked out of the way and never trimmed.

so give it a shot on a plant or two and see what happens and form your own personal prefernce.

i was told by a friend that if you don't trim the leaves and the middle doesn't get a lot of light then the buds wont be as big or as good is that true?
i was also told not to have lights under the plant is that true?

I always trim the leave's on my plant's to allow more light to the bud's...not strip it naked..but some wont hurt.

I dont see how more light will hurt the plant..under,over,on the side,hell stick one right in the middle.
