Question Can Hydrogen peroxide be used in a bubbler cloner?

HI, Everyone

Thanks for reading my question. I'd like to ask questions about the usage of hydrogen peroxide on a bubbler cloner.

I've been trying to clone my trainwreck strain for awhile now (on and off for one and a half month) . At first, I used rockwool and rooting powder. All my clones just wilted and never developed any roots because I might've over watered the rockwool too much. Then I built a small bubbler cloner(the rez is a 2 gallon transparent container) after reading some DIY threads from the forum. I got lots of bubbles from 2 airtones and I used to put them one inch below the water level. The stems of my clones started to rot a bit ( I see really thin stem tissues almost silk like stem tissues falling out and floating in the water).

Now the stems of my clones are 1/2 inch above the water level in the rez and I use Rootech rooting instead of rooting powder. One week later, My stems started to rot a bit. I decided to add 2 ml of Hydrogen peroxide at 35% I then saw the small rotting parts on the stems being eaten away. I wonder if I should keep doing it every three days for the purpose of keeping my stems from rotting ? Or am I just supposed to use HP for cleaning the rez of my bubbler cloner? BTW, is the strain "trainwreck" hard to clone?

Any advise would be appreciated~ Thanks !

PS:
I keep my Water temps around 20 degree C ~ 25 deree C. I use a 18/6 light regiment.
I add a tiny bit of flowering nutes into my rez about 45PPM
I don't have superthrive and I used to add 3 ml of a small brand B1 plant nutrient in place of superthrive now I just add a tiny bit of flowering nutes about 45 PPM into my rez.

Using Hydrogen Peroxide in the cloner is unnecessary. Also adding superthrive won't really be beneficial either. Superthrive should be used on cuttings to create a vitamin b scab, blasting your plants with it wont do much. Use PH corrected water and some cloning solution maybe about 5ml per gallon.

Thanks Socialistpete,

So does adding hydrogen Peroxide in the cloner affect or slow the rooting process in any way? If I add proper amount of HP regularly (like once every 4 days and change the rez every 7 days) in my cloner, does it prevent the stems of my cuttings from rotting ? (I find the bottom of the stems of my cuttings turn darker as if they were going to rot and cuttings tend to wilt and die within 7 days into the cloner before they were able to root)

If I don't have access to a proper cloning solution, and all have is a Rootech cloning gel and some no name vitamin B1 rooting solution, will addling Rootech cloning gel 5 ml per gallon work like a cloning solution ?

Sorry for asking so many questions. I'm just not very experienced with cloning and it just seems a mystery that cuttings keeps wilting and dying on me....

The h2o2 can inhibit root growth on clones, not sure about using the roottech gel but unless someone says something else I wouldn't do it. But if you do end up throwing the gel in only use 1ml per gal as it is super concentrated. Now on the other hand I know people that just take clones and dip them in rooting solution then throw them in the cloner with just ph correct water. Just remember root rot is usually caused by high res temps

did you put anything around the tub, or spray paint it? light will kill roots.

what is your humidity at?

did you back your lights off higher than they would normally be?
