Hi - I'm in month one of a lovely looking grow, but my pump just busted...it's a microjet, for an nft system, and i have no idea what happened...it made a sound like someone was strangling it, then stopped pumping...it has a filter, and i put the pump in a clear bowl of water and noted that all sorts of crap was floating out of it...any advice? will the plants be ok for 24 hours (just started flowering, so 12 on, 12 off, at 250 HPS) as i try and figure out a place nearby to buy another pump? or does anyone have ideas on how to repair it?

If stuff is floating out of it, You will not be able to fix it. If you know the name and pump number do a search on the net. Try a hydro shop or lowes or homedepot for pond pumps. You will need to hand water untill you can replace it. speed in replacement is the thing right now. I always keep a spare pump for drip systems.

Busted? Please do not use that word in the house. Your pump is broken not busted. The oint makes me paranoid enough if ya know what I mean
