PLEASE NEED DWC HELP!

I am starting DWC, but if I have a plant that I started in peet pellet and is now in soil, can I clean off the peet pellet and put it in my media or will the roots not get anything. I guess what I'm asking is, do I have to use a clone started in a hydro set to start my hydro set. I'm worried that if I put my plant in my DWC now, it wont get anything because the roots are small. Any help would be awesome.

Gently gut down the side of the peat or jiffy starter. Have a bucket of good water and just dunk it in and wash the peat away. Place in hydrotron or hydro medium and put in your DWC. Bring the water up to just below the netpot so the bubbles splash on the bottom of netpot. You can also hand water a little to get the roots to start heading for the water. Just keep an eye on them in case they need a little water till roots start hanging down.

LOC NAR is right on ... I've gone back and forth between soil and hydro, (both ways) using RapidRooter plugs, no sweat, no problems ...

FoothillsFarmer is an unknown quantity at this point
I start all of my seeds out in rapid rooters and I just transfer the whole rapid rooter into my net pots, I put about an inch of hydroton into my net before I drop the rapid rooter in, this keeps the bottom half moist, but not so wet that the taproot drowns... I've found I don't have to top water my seedlings because of this, as soon as roots pop out of the bottom of the rapid rooter, it goes straight into the hydroton and the tub. I also maintain the same water level all throughout the grow... about 1-1/2 inches below the net pot.
