she is in week three. got her under cfl's right now in my closet, i''m move her to my grow tent when i put her on 12/12.ph is at 6.0 water temp's at 70. i'v got a ppm meter on the way. grow tent is 48x48x78 inches. 400 watt hps. this is my third grow. thinking of maybe going 600 watts. any imput would be appreciated.

i'm useing fox farm hydro big grow right now. i'v got a vanilla kush sproutd also (bout a week old). i have a v.k. in my tent but it never really did well from the start. i'm just trying to save her.( started her on organics and had trouble from the beginning.) i just finished my second grow that did really well (bagseed)

Great! Sounds like ur off to a decent start, then again I'm only coming to the end of my first dwc attempt myself. How do u like it compared to soil grows? Or have u just only done dwc? What strains are the two in the pic?

i'm useing 5 gallon coolers for the first time. does anyone else use coolers? and do they keep better control of temps?

looking good so far. As for the upgrade of 400w to 600w, the only problem you might have is higher temps with bigger light but the 600w would work great in that space. One quick note on the RW cubes I see you using, when changing water out take a half gallon or so and pour from top so it will run clean through. That will help flushing any salt away from your plant as RW leaches salt really well. Check into Rapid Rooters, all organic and no salt build up.
