I need Nutes reccomendation for beginner..

I bought a simple system off EBAY.. that uses an air pump.. This will be my first time.. Its the kind that is basically a 10 Gallon Rubbermaid/Sterlite tote with 2 6 inch pots and a dual pump ( I could have built it for $20.00).. I live in a hard water town.. What nutes should I use for MJ..

It depends on what you are looking for, if organic is important, if you want sometime easy, or if you want to make your own mix. If organic is a what you are looking for go Fow farm or meta naturals, chemical: flora nova or three part General hydro series. Some good additives would be dark energy and super charger, superthrive, or liquid karma. but NOT all of them tongether!

Okay, I have now Fox Farm Grow Big, Big Bloom, and Tiger Boom..... But use it for soil.. I think I will go General Hydroponics Flora Series.. seems pretty basic FloraGro 2-1-6, Florabloom 0-5-4 amd perhaps Hardwater Floramicro 5-0-1

Yeah dude....go Flora 3-part and use hardwater micro. Don't worry about organics right away. Keep it simple since it's your first time. Get a good pH tester though. It's a must have. I didn't like the eye dropper style at all. If you can afford it, checkout digital pH meters. I got mine for like $90. American Marine pH monitor. It's a constant read so the probe remains in the reservoir. It's total peace of mind for me. pH is VERY important for lots of things like the health of your plant, the health of your reservoir and it's nutriients, and how fast and healthy your plants grow and finish. Those test strips and droplet tests are very inacurate I think.

you're going to need to adjust your pH frequently, like everyday, and an accurate read is the key to making the right adjustments. For instance.......

After you mix a batch of nutrients and water, you will probably need to raise your pH to the desired level (5.2-5.8) with pH up. After a day or so it will begin to rise up further than your initial adjustment and you will need to use pH down to keep it within the desired level. Everyday it needs to be watched and adjusted. If it gets above 6.5 you will see bad things start happening. Trust me, I know. Get a good pH tester, it will save a lot of headaches
