Exclamation broke it!!!

i was applying some pressure on the stalk, get a look inside at the under growth.
And the trunk snapped a little, only about a half inch , so i put a twist tie above and below it.
Should this work?
And what should i expect for down time?
And what other kind of trouble should i look for because of this?
Are there any nutes i can give it to speed up this healing process?
I drew a line where the split was with a marker, so you could see it better, hope that dont screw with it.

This has happened to me a few times. I just wrap electrical tape around it. It looks like yours should be fine just keep the 2 split parts together with some pressure and they should heal back together. Try not to mess with it again too soon or it may happen again. I dont think there is anything to speed up the healing though.

wrap it with guaze or cheescloth...It should be OK like you have it, just don't touch it for a few days.

A buddy of mine, he grows in dirt, actually does something along those lines on purpose. He says that it makes them stronger. He's actually very rough on some of his girls

He always grows good stuff though.
