The Reel Trimmer

Depending on your bugget which closely relates to your production. This machine the Reel Trimmer is the best unit on the market to me. It's made in Canada .Has the longest drum out of all other units. It has three phase motors digitally converted to 120 with a speed variable trim barrel. It's the only self sharpening and height adjusting machine there is. It's super quiet , which i really like. You can see it on craigslist under humbodlt in the farm and garden section. They have been in buisness for a year and a half and i have heard nothing bad about this unit. It really does what they say, 40 lbs wet per hour. Alot of guys are going for units like trimpro and trimbox but i find them still to be alot of work and all the rubbing really takes alot of resin off the buds.

The last thing you want to do is mulch your buds, This machine I know does not do that but is far inferior to the Reel . I've tried the Reel side by side with the Centurion $22,000) and found it to be twice as fast and you loose alot less little fruit, which makes up 20% of your outcome.

There are several out there

The Reel Pro - Reel Pro Plant Leaf Trimmer and Mulcher

Tumbleweed - TumbleWeed Leaf Trimmer Machine - home

Rolling Thunder - Welcome to Rolling Thunder

Centurion - didn't find a url

Trim Pro - Trimpro, effeuilleuse, jackpuck, pour trimmer les herbes et plus

Big Red Shredder

Grasshopper
- I think its redistributed by Hydrotek

There's also a cheap Chinese made copy of the TrimPro/Grasshopper that sells for about $900 tax in. I don't know the site off hand. It works good but the motor on it sucks and doesn't seem to last too long (4/6 crops)

Do anybody know where to get one of these? Also has anyone had any experience with The Big Read Shreader?

Big Red was ok for its day but the table trimmers blow it away, even the small Trim Pro one.

The Chinese knock off of the Trim Pro/Grasshopper can be found below

Trimmers : Skywide Wholesale, Garden Supply

Don't get the round model as it sucks and not as stable as the square one.

PNW in Surrey has a rental program other wise contact each machines manufacturer/distributor and ask then if any of their retailers do rentals.

I almost bought a trimmer then was talked out of it by several knowledgeable people on this board. I now have two good, comfortable scissors. If one starts to get gummed up it goes into some rubbing alcohol while I use the other. (recommended by stinky, thanks)

I work with the makers of The Twister Machine. Just wanted to add it to the list of quality trimmers. Thx.

All those trimmers are priced RIDICULOUS. Who the hell is going to pay $14500US for a trimmer. Not me that's for sure. Then again if your on the large scale I see the need for one. Still outrageously priced.

Same thing I do when the gunk up! I have three pairs of surgical scissors for my buds and they work wonderfully!

Look just like this!

When they gunk up you should take a razor blade and scrape it off wait for it to dry and voila you have scissor hash!

Speaking of hash, I just finished making 2 batches of ISO hash at my buddies house with premature flowers and another batch of the trimmings from the plant. The hash with the flower ones came out golden and the other black and gold. I took three hits of the golden hash and it had me LIT!

P.S. Sorry off topic!

They're definitely priced to cater to certain markets. But like they say, If you can't afford one, you don't need one...
