Sure it does not hurt them and it sure does help them root.

There is a fungiside in the gel that helps keep damping off at bay so they have a better chance to root then ones that don't use anything.

would love to pick your brain.
Thats entirely your call though. I understand your annonnimimitytty.
here are some pics of the clones, they are quite droopy. but once the roots form, they will revive them selves i think, hope.
I added the gel before your post, on a whim. thx alot

Do you have a humidity dome or anti-wilt. The first 3-5 day's are the most important days to clones. They need to switch from a family plant to a single plant and support them self.

My email is in my sig line feel free to contact me by email.

I live in OC part of socal so unless you are local to me I guess you need to settle with email.

I noticed your light being tilted towards vertical about 25 degrees. If you are running horizontal ;lamp you should lebvel this out...

Z, I emailed you at potdot com a week ago no reply.
Hush was down for maintenance and I needed to contact you so I signed up @pot, but you never replied.
Not giving you a hard time, but I thought you would notice if I posted here.

sorry to bust in Foxbird...goodluck with your grow, bro

np latewood, you can chime in anytime,

I m not sure if its a verticle lamp, but i would assume that they would have put alot of warnings on the box, and in the advertisement. and there were none.

You did?

I will check again, I get a lot of email and even spam there now but I will check the filter again and see if it's there. The last 2 weeks have sucked, way to much hard labor for my taste.

Not too much light for clones. Floro's are fine.
I don't know what UV light your talking about.
But after a few days you can not see the gel anymore on the clones. It has obsorbed into the plant. And has gotten all it can. More would be a waste in my opinion.

Assuming that all the other atmospheric conditions are adequate, or optimal.
I seems that reapplication of rooting gel slows the rate at which roots grow length wize and instead just grows outward, and bulky.
Only 1 application of the gel is enough for roots to pop out. The 2 clones that i planted are of the extra rooting gel variety. I think a stocky root base is a great way to stabalize the plant early in the veg process. also I think nutrient intake will be better. i buried the stems pretty deep, and I am watering from above till they stretch to the water level in the rez.( Is this correct or should i not water them to encourage the roots to stretch?)

they look great...I didn't wait for pik to load, because it was taking too long...must be too big...anyway, the water in a bubbler should be 1/4-1/2" below stem.

I would transfer all of them to the hydro system or pots that you are starting them in...they a ready. get'em growing. some guys put there's in sil as soon a any roots pop...I like to get them healthy like yours look and then pot them...goodluck lw
