Regular liquid fertilizer in hydro
Can I use regular liquid fertilizer(made for rhododendrons and evergreens)in a DWC setup?
little bit acidic
I don't think so. It won't contain all the necessary macros. And some elements will probably require breaking down from micro organisms in the soil before they can be taken up by the roots.
you probably could...I would go with no more than a 50% mix to start with...values are OK for veg...You couldn't use this to flower...TOO MUCH Nitrogen.
BUt!!!!!!!!! Wait!!!!!! How old are your plants? Don't put that on seedlings unless you want to fry them.
I've heard of people doing it, but your potency, taste, and overall plant health will suffer greatly. Do yourself a favor and buy some real hydro nutes.
I 2nd that...good advice mountainman
i admit when i first started hydro i did indeed use some regular first that werent even liquid, my plants did well, the potency was even good. and i did use them in dwc, i had them in soil then after two weeks i had gently flooded the soil out and set them into perlite dwc with 1/4 to start strength
