finaly sorted shit out and got rid of my sick plant.

Hi Misk
 can I ask you what kinda system you have and how does it work?? I have seen several set ups like that, mine is one that a tub sits inside another and water drains out through some holes, or something like that lol.

i duno wat its called lol but its got a drip system uptop with 2 sprinklers in the tub, waterpump and water heater set on 20degrees. ive also put a 12" airstone in the bottom.

woops forgot to add, thers a few holes in the pipe in the res to disturb the water a lil. the water just recirculates in the same tub

its quite a simple system and real easy to setup and run with quite good results. lemme know if u go ahead with it, would be good to see another version of the same system

I just got my 400 HPS lighting today I am gonna set it up tonight when my hubby gets home, I have 3 clones and 5 seedlings I am gonna put in it I will so keep you posted

just an update on the plants.
growing well altho had a few problems with PH but all sorted now. ive trimmed the leaves affected, and topped the plants a few days ago. one plant has split into 5, one into 4 and one into 3 lol. should be good to see how the go once they recover fully. still not sure wats causing the plants to be droppy, with the leaves curling up n a bit weird looking lol but the new groth seems to be fine.

plants seem to be going well...except for the lashing of humidity they coppedwen my housemate left the dryer on with the door shut...again!
i trimmed the large fan leaves as they were getting stupidly big lol. after topping with the FIM technique the plants have spit into 5 main heads at this stage, we'll see wat they do in a few weeks as it looks like they could get as much as 8-10 per plant. the plants have been in the hydro for 23 days

Hi Misk! You have posted on a couple of my threads and I had no idea you had a grow going. I just ran across your thread this morning... Anyways, I saw early on a couple of them looked pretty sickly. They look AWESOME NOW!
I dont have enough post for a sig, but my grow thread is "My Grow Pics. Your Harsh Opinions." (I thought the thread name might at least get me a little help from some Grumpy Old Timers!) Anyways, its funny they don't comment much... BUT, you answered one of my questions with a comment you made about sexing the plants. I thought you would know before they got that big... Of course I dont know... Im a newbie to indoor and all of this really! Anyways, I will be checking your thread for how it goes. If I could make a couple of observations... I think you may have been having some early problems due to the moisture on the leaves. It is called dampening or something like that. I covered my bubblers under the rocks as I have observed with several experienced growers. The bubbler just needs to sit 1/2 inch below the surface of the rocks. It STILL BUBBLES, you just can't enjoy watching it! And the second observation... You are in the same boat I am. Growing plants you dont know are male or female to begin with. How did you pick which seeds to plant? I planted dark seeds with black lines... Anyways, I am looking at seeds NOW, so next time I will have goos feminized, known high THC content, etc... After all, this IS a lot of work. I might as well grow something good! Anyways, the plants look AWESOME to me! Keep up the good work!

yeah the plants were being slightly over watered and i had a high humidity problem. its kind of all sorted now lol and generlay u wont know sex until the plants have started flowering, mine have only been on 12/12 for around 5 days, so wont know for another few days. the seeds....i jsut plant a heap and pick the best seedlings and with the bubbler i assume u mean the airstone? i fill my res to only half because im using a drip system also, so its not just a bubbler system. cheers fo the comments catch

one plants gone male  oh well, couldve been worse i spose lolput the walls on and painted the inside white. should help a bit with kepeing temps under control. plants seem to be going well, finaly got some hairs coming out so should be a fun ride from here on in
