Angry Who is right? Husband or ME!

OK so here we are discussing our plants, they have been on 12/12 for 4 weeks now, I see alot of crystals and alot of white hairs, I say watsh for the change in the lil mushroom looking things, and he says NO! when the hairs turn brown/red whatever color, Now I recall reading I think it was Zandor or even I think it was the wise GardenKnowm that said its the frosty color in the mushroom looking things, and to not let them turn amber color. I know I am reight, and like the Knowm I am always right ! or could this possibly be my first wrong??? I have read alot of useful info on hydro growing, and HEH when I say to change something that he is doing, it always works, so I am for sure that I again am right , I know I have read things about the hairs turning aswell, BUT I will stand my ground firmly and say when the mushroom looking thing-a-ma-bobs turn frosty!

You are right. Theres a chart somewhere with pictures showing the different trichome development stages.

Timing the harvest can define the type of "stone" you are experience when consuming - I highly suggest sampling from the different stages til you find what you are looking for. You don't have to harvest in one shot either, unless thats what your setup requires.. You can "pick them as they ripen"

If you go into a RadioShack and ask for a handheld lighted microscope you can get one for about $10. Than clip a bud leaf off in a couple spots and put it on something black so you can see the leaf better and dial the scope in and check it out. I like a combo of 33.3% of Amber, Cloudy, Clear trichs for a nice even high. The hairs can turn like that for several reasons. Alot of newbies like to squeeze there buds to see how dense they are or to smell the aroma it gives off and nutes. I do a double harvest myself on most that lets the bottom half mature faster.
