Ive been using a 400 watt hps/mh ebb and flow setup with about 6 plants in it. I recently just got a new spot and i have 3 10x10 rooms to work with. I want to start out in one room with 1 1000 watt light and an aeroponic system. what do you guys think the most effecient way to use all of this space is (cloning room, veg room, flowering room?) ? ive cloned and used my small setup for a while and im ready to step it up but i want to make sure im not wasting any space or energy. Im looking to get the most harvests possible in the shortest amount of time (obviously everyone wants that i know). but im just asking how a master grower would handle the situation to get the most out of my area. thanks

Another question i have is how I should start my new seeds (mazar feminized) and how tall I should let them grow for the first time before cloning them or putting them into flowering. Im goin to germinate and throw them under some flouro's until they are ready. Then i was going to put them into 18/6 veg mode . how tall should i let them grow before taking clones and after i take the clones should i turn the original plants that i took the clones from into flowering mode? what do you think i want to really make the most out of this setup my last few harvests have been sloppy but i want this one to be better.

I would only say be very cautious of hermi plants with the feminized seeds. They can turn on ya. This being your first run in a new setup you will be fine tuning parameters and could stress them a couple of times. I would wait to run the feminized seeds until you have a system down and things are running smootly..

Largest I've ever run is 6KW for flowering with a home grown aero rig. I'll offer my opinion-------but I'll need a lot more info---- you situation, resources, etc,-------I'll help you with your goals if you're interested.

I wouldn't call my selfe a master, but I will give a penny's worth of input. First of all, like already stated you will need to provide a whole lot more info. In order to use all of that space to it's highest potential you could dump about 5 to 10K into it at least IMO. For one, a 10 x 10 room could house about 6 to 7 K of lights so that little 1K would use up a relatively small area, 4x4 and even 3x3 IMO. THen you need to make sure that the electric is up to par, then you have smell, heat and nutes along with strains, growing style, mother plants and clones.
So give us an idea of your resources and goals and we will all start rattling off enough things to do that it could make your head spin, LOL.

ok so this is what i decided im going to do everyone tell me what you think.. im going to make one room a cloning/mother room.. i want to use two 400 watt hps lamps in this room and leave them on 18/6 for the clones and mothers. once the (mothers are in there i dont know how long i should leave them in for and how often to clone them..) the other room is going to be a flowering room with two 1000 watt lamps (the electricity bill is important for me i dont want it to be too high) im going to have an ebb and flow system on each 1000 watt lamp in a 4x4 tray. (how many plants should i put in each system to get the best results). then i want to have clones ready all the time for each blooming system. ill make them be two weeks apart so i can take clones every 2 weeks and put them in ultimately making my harvests more often. is that a good idea or should i just do it all one cycle. the seeds i want to use is mazar and these really nice outdoor seeds i saved. how should i start the system as far as germinating an taking mothers and starting clones. i just want to make sure im doing everything perfect before i even start germination. my setups have always been sloppy before i want to make it perfect this time around. One more question i have also is what is the best type of hydro system i should use for the mothers? and do i just feed them like regalar plants in veg stage? and is the 18/6 method good and how long can i use that for? all u masta's ill b anticipatin your responses

I'm not a master but you could do cloning/mothering and veg in one room and have the other two rooms for flowering. Stagger the starts in the 12/12 rooms by a month and you get chili peppers and tomatoes every month.

It would be a waste of space to have seperate veg/cloning/mothering rooms, IMO.
