you cant clean it, you have to replace the carbon with fresh stuff once the filter starts losing effectiveness.
and you dont need to clean a new one, it should be supplied in a sealed plastic bag to prevent the carbon absorbing any particles untill you need to use it.
thats what i thought. The one i had before (which was new) didn't smell so great. I think it was because of the dust, idk. I think it would be more reasonable to take out the carbon and clean it off then hosing it down. what u thing?
