I was just woundering what is the best way of working out yields is there a certain amount of lumens per gram or something

I like this equation: X=watts HID, Y=30 days of veg, Z=grams
1/2X times Y=2Z
of course strain grower expeirence blah blah, thats a good starter

example, 60 day of veg, 1000 watts
500 times 2=1000
since it is 2Z, devide by 2
500 grams
I got fivehundred by deviding 100 by two. and 2 cuz 30 times two is 60

well, i think the only thing wrong with using mathematics to guess that is you have to take into account how many plants you're growing and what the yield typically can be for a specific strain...there's too many wild variables and there's always something left out...you just can't make calculations across those variables, none of them happen at the same time anyways...

But you must admit there is a direct coalition between watts and yeild
