So, theres 16 oz in a pound, so you need between 48 and 12 plants depending on yield. TBH you need more than 600Watt for that IMO. Peace ![]() Denial

did some researching....
maby i can answer my own question but not sure if this is right....
i got this off the light section... 2000 lumens sq. ft./21500 lumens sq. m. = Absolute minimum for growth. You won't get much from this, especially after the plant has grown a bit. Not really enough to flower well. 3000 lumens sq. ft./32250 lumens sq. m. = Pretty Good growth. Enough light for the entire light cycle, although your yields may be lower. 4000 lumens sq. ft./43000 lumens sq. m. = Very good growth. Once you pass around 3500, growth rate and ability goes up fast. Over 5000 lumens sq. ft./53750 lumens sq. m. = Optimal growth. Dense growth in all stages. and i figure 3500-4000 per plant is good enough for me i wanted 2 600w hps lights giving out 30kper light so ... thats 60k... 60k/16=3750k per plant + will have mylar around all walls and walls will be close 2 plants so light refelection should be good.. is this right? |

Also, you will want different sized pots. Plants from seed need bigger pots because they have more roots (also produce more than a clone). The mothers can eventually go into a 5 gallon, but you should really have about 3 to 5 different sized cups and pots throughout the grow... Plants vegging under 18/6 may also have bigger root systems than plants vegging 24/0 Why should I re=pot my plant, or why not put the seed in a large pot? Definitely do a little more research before you start ordering supplies and seeds... Sounds like you have the idea, but try looking through all the stickies and the FAQ's, Basic Growing, Indoor Growing, etc... it will save you a lot of stress heartache in the coming months! Good luck

so to answer your second question about 4 mothers and 15+ clones.
goodluck... remember, if you are in a state where growing is legal there is usually a maximum of 12 plants! Just so you know. Peace, denial

Reminds me of when I was in elementary school, looking through the Sears catalog, picking-out the bikes I wanted, tools that would be cool...all those gadgets and stuff...
Are we offering advanced technique advise to a newbie? fatpat: Have you ever grown before? By the tenor of your posts...I seriously doubt it. Likely it's better to learn how to crawl first, then learn to walk. If inexperienced, you are running head-first into an expensive headache. If you can afford this, then go for it. But if you are like the rest of us (and broke) starting slow till you really know what you are doing, and what you'll need is a good idea. Also...wanna know the best way to keep people away from reading your posts...? Color the fuck out of 'em. Some of us are color-blind, and won't normally answer Sesame-Street posts. I'm one of those folks. Sure, I could highlight with the mouse to change the contrasts...but it's not my garden that's going to suffer because someone has made it childishly inconvenient to help.
