If I could make a suggest- grab some pete pellets-cheap, and convenient-thats what I use for clones, just letem suck up the water-I'd grab a small bottle of super-thrive, and rooting powder- this can be picked up at any nursery-scrape a little on one side of the cutting stem-dip it in the bottle of rooting powder-stem first-press her in the soaked peet pellet, and sit back.Clones are absolutely invaluable to us.peace

avoid Superthrive, that highly over-rated garbage kills young seedlings
 ... it does help rooting, helpful in cloning, but only use 1-2 DROPS per gallon ... I'd avoid it altogether ... also, peat is too acidic for cannabis, it will get you by, but is not the medium of choice ... I recommend RapidRooter plugs for your cloning/seedstarting needs ... and, cloning gel sticks to the stem better than the powder ... I used the powder for years, it works OK, too ... I wonder if anyone caught the title to this thread, of a 'zero budget' ... I assume everyone sees now, there ain't no such thing as 'free', maybe that's why pot costs so much  ... good growing

Here's some new pictures.
We started a cloning chamber, just a little 15w UVB t5 tube with another 13w daylight CFL. The clones are in sphagnum peat pellets with a gentle coating of rooting hormone. My plant that is shown is now only 21 days old.....I'm so proud of (hopefully) her...... -C

Got some new pics with our new HPS light. ITs crazy how we found it, yard sale.........yeah I know, weird. We weren't even going to the yard sale, my buddy is a redelivery boy and on his route one day we passed a yard sale, I saw a sign "FLOOD LIGHT FOR SALE". We joked about it, haha we could get a grow light dude, drove by it slowly and saw it was an HPS light. $30. Not as powerful as I would want, its only a 50w, but it definitely helps. Heres the pix of my other crippled weird awesome super growth plant. ITs shitty but you can see the bushy-ness. I trimmed the bottom leaves off and the stem is about a 1/4" thick, I like it.

Here's some more updates from last night. Yesterday's pix were from Monday.
Yeah, I couldn't tell if anything was up with it. I had been in Chicago last week so I had my buddy take care of it. It seemed to completely double over the week. I only water it 1-2 times a week, but I give it a generous amount and every 2 weeks I git it some nutes. I've never heard of anyone doing it but so far it has worked for me. I take 1/2 cup of Ironite(12-10-10) into 3 cups of water. swish it around and strain it. The plant seems to like it and it hasn't burned it so I will continue.I was to transplant it but I need to find a way to do so that isn't too big. I think I'm going to flower it in a week or 2... -C

-C 1st couple are how I attached my carbon filter. Then its my box/plant with their 4 new 23watt CFL. 2700k with 1600 lumens each. I like, we will see how she likes them.

we were having some troubles with the light, so we drilled a series of about 100 holes in both sides and set up an exhaust that takes the heat from the inside of the lamp out, it still gets warm in there, but the highest its gotten to is 88, before we did this it would go up to 110, very bad. But now it is awesome, I'll try and take pix next I can.

Here's some updated pix, I found what I'm transplanting into, just need to drill some holes and what not, it will be nice, its actually an Easter basket, lol. Anyways, me and my bud are setting up our DWC hopefully today for a clone of the plant that you are about to see, unless of course you looked at the pix first, then read. In that case, do so in reverse order.....so yeah, I'm baked and here's some pix....

Here's today's pictures. I had to do some LST, and thought it would be appropriate to use hemp. I also transplanted today into my Easter basket, its awesome, it has a layer of Perlite on the bottom, then I placed the root ball and what-not into the bucket, then placed a layer of Perlite around the root ball, then some 50-50 soil Perlite mixture. Anywho, heres the pix....

Me and my buddy are starting a DWC, just a single 5gal bucket with a single plant. We are seeing how we do with it, then moving to a nicer set-up. I never knew nutes were so expensive. Anyway, still need to find some hydroton, either need to order it or take a 50 min drive, i guess we need to make a decision.

Just high as balls and scanned some of my leaves. These are about the average of how big the leaves on my plant are getting, the 3 inch one is actually about the largest I have had. Does anyone know if this is any specific strain of nugs or just some mutant pot plant.

Here she is today on this fine day here.
Me and my buddy started our hydro today, we didn't buy any of the nutes cuz they cost oh so much around here, but I made a little nute solution out of about 3/4 cup of Ironite(12-10-10) in 1 liter of water to the 4.5 gallon reservoir. I'm not sure if it will do, but who the balls knows, it didn't cost me anything so we will see what goes down. -C

What do I do if this turns out to be some like super mega headies? I have one clone of it from before I put it into flowering, but what if that doesn't survive, will I just have to part ways with it, or could I take another clone from it even though its flowering already.

Got pics of all the boxes but the budding ones, I wanted to use my digi rather than my phone to take a pic so you can actually see the pistols and what not. They are looking amazing, can't wait to see how well the hydro does. Well, here they are, all the pics are of my banzai plant(needs some sort of name) and the little one is our new veg cabinet, its pretty dang sweet if you ask me. The tank in there is for cloning, pour about a 1/2" of water in the base of it and through a piece of glass from a picture frame on it. Then we just used duct tape to seal the box when the glass is on it, keeps it an amazing 99% humidity in there at about 88 degrees. I'm high and rambling so heres the pix.
