Hello folks,

Just starting to get things around for yet another grow. However I have moved into a place where there is a secret room that i found. No access at all to the room. OKay OKay its not a total secret some people know its there but the room was sealed off many moons ago. Well i figured out the layout of the house and how to get into this room. This room is roughly 80 sq feet. the room is roughly 12' X 8'. SO there will be room for a veg and flower room. I plan on using 6 aeroponics systems and one 24 hole cloner. Everything is home made. And will be built to fit the room. I plan on using 1 600 watt HPS @ 85,000 lumens for the flower room plus supplemental lighting from CFLs for a total of around 3500 lumens per sq foot. I might upgrade to a 1000 watt HPS sooner or later but at the moment all my cash is going to room set up. Plus the 40 sq feet will accually be less once the room is set up so I know there will be over 3000 lumens at least and 1 250 watt MH for the veg room. That should be enough after everything is built to supply the precious plants enough light to grow. The cloner will be lit with with 2 2' T8 warm and cool bulbs. also in the flowering room I plan on keeping the CO2 levels around 1500 ppm and maybe increasing that to around 2000 ppm for the last 4 weeks of flowering. This will also leak a little into the veg room so no CO2 will be released into the room its self.

So far this is my new idea for the new grow room. and so far everything looks like it is going good and money and resources are in place so i just need to start building the room the way I want it. I am worried about the cold temperatures coming because it is almost winter here and I do not know how the room is going to do when it hits 0 degrees out. May need to heat the room. But I am hoping that the MH and HPS will do the trick. Maybe to hot. Time will tell.

Anyways, Like I said there ill be a 24 hole cloner that I will use to clone the VEG room not mothers. all clones will be taken from the veg room after growth good growth. Only 14 out of the 24 clones will be selected and used in the Aero/NFT systems. The strongest will survive. These will be grown to around 40 to 50 CM (around 20 inches) in veg room and flowered for 8 to 9 weeks in the flower room. off set three weeks apart to harvest every 3 weeks. after the initial 9 weeks of flowering. This will give me roughly 14oz every 3 weeks which should be well over enough to supply my needs for a very long time. I DO smoke ALOT and this should be enough to supply me and maybe the rest of the members in my household. Better be anyways.

So this is my thoughts and well I am loving the idea of this grow room. I have been using a 6' X 3' X 6' box that i made to grow in and it has done me well. But when I moved I had to disassemble and am missing my set up so I figured I would make a bigger badder system. Now that I know how to grow its time to spend some money and make the room of my dreams. Well it still isn't the room of my dreams but will definitely be bigger and badder then I had in the past.

Here is a list of what I will be using to grow in this new room of mine.

Was going to use AK-47 Any thoughts on other strains are welcome.

Botanicare Cal-Mag plus, Liquid Karma, Pure Blend Pro Veg, Sweet, and Pure Blend Pro Bloom.

6 Aero/NTF Systems total of 42 plants in Veg and 42 Plants in FLower total of 84 plants in total.

24 hole aero cloner

1 600 watt HPS soon will upgrade to 1000 watt HPS

1 250 watt MH with supplemental CFLs

2 2' T8 cool and warm white bulbs for the cloner

240 CFM inline exhaust fan

2 ocsilating fans

and 2 activaed carbon filter to control odor

1 CO2 regulator with 50 lb tank.

at the moment can't think of what else will be in the room. Maybe a small oscilating heater with thermostat if temps get to low in the mid winter.

Oh yeah and there is a window in the center of this room witch I will be building a light trap for. hidden blind and a cover to cover the window so no light leaks out. Its small but could be a problem if it not covered.
So far any thought or opinions on this new grow room.

Here are some pictures of the room and access to the room. You have to go threw a closet and behind the shower to enter the room. There will be a fake wall built to cover the entrance in the closet so no one sees the entrance. The the typical person this will be just a closet and nothing more.

Don't mind the room its a mess and is the junk room so I will be cleaning and organizing that room shortly but I have more important thing to do then clean that room at the moment I wanna get my grow room built first.

These pictures are in raw form and the rooms need to be cleaned and a few holes in the floor fixed but you will get to see the rough layout and the entrance tot he rooms.

More pictures will follow and you WILL be updated on what is going on and any improvements made to this room.

yeah i hope i dont find any bodies in there as well that would make the room a little weird I would think.

Anyways, There is going to be a journal. This was the start of it. Showing from start to finish of the room being built set up and the veg cycle flower cycle and also the cloner. This will be the grow log.

Check back there will be updates. the next will be of the room cleaned and ready to start the set up.

cant wait to get in there and start growing again. anxious..... lol

I would love to find a hidden room, although not much chance of that in the house I live. I have to make do with a 3.5 sq feet grow area, because there really is nowhere to build a grow room or set up a grow tent, the house is so small. Good luck with the grow man! That many square foot really opens some options for you.

I know I am lucky I found this room. or a way in I should say.

Updates will come slowly to let you all know I have loads of work to do before I will be completely able to set up in this room. within the week I will have the room cleaned and plastic up to cover the ceiling and maybe the walls. Its a non insulated room and its cold out now so. Have to block some of the cold.

Will have new pics up by the end of the week.

Oh yeah and one more thing the only complication to this room is that the roof is peaked but it doesn't start till 3' up the wall. although the roof at the peak is 12' so have head room for hangers for lights.

Today I am going to accually start to clean the room up a little. Gotta find my stapler for I can hang my plastics and get the room in un rough shape to start the setups. I am going to start with 1 aero setup and then build from there. I can't use all 6 yet because I wont have the plants to fill emm so I will start with the one and expand as i need to until my room is full of aero systems. 6 to be axact. 3 for flowering and 3 for vegging. the new cloner will come after the first aero setup is up.

I redesigned my aero systems so that they only hold 10 plants each. Plus the water pumps I would need (350+ GPH) run around $100 each whee I buy them so I need smaller pumps so I needed to make a smaller setup to acommidate my budget. That should be all I need. They were 14 plant size but I need more working room in the room. after the wall are built and everything is set up I would have around2 feet of walking space. a little cramped so. only going to use around 4X4 (16 sq feet) for bother the veg room and the flower room. 16 sq feet each. so that will give me room for all my supplies and my cloner. should be alright.

So I will post new pics of the room once it is clean and you all will be able to see the room a little better and where all this will take place.

Might be a good idea to put some insulation up there. Also, dont ya think its odd they enclosed a room with a window in it? And how did ya figure out that it was there? You could use it as a panic room too. lol Would of sucked if ya tore out the wall and there was only a couple feet there. If ya got a wife, she would have killed ya.lol Damn your lucky, the hidden room grow, i luv it

hey man thats great. that looks like plastered walls from the inside. make sure u put up a vapor barrier around the whole room. dont want the smell to excape. and that looks like an attic so be careful of temperture...... im builing my room in the basement. builing a door that will look like the wall and also a side entrance that come in through a closet. my room is about 11x14.....

This room as actually on the second floor with the attic above it. So shouldn't be to bad. And the whole room will be plasticed from wall to ceiling. kinda like in indoor greenhouse without the sun. well sorta HPS. lol.

You have more room then I got. Thats cool utilize it. trust me it well worth it. you can have one hell of a set up in that size of a room in you plan accordingly. A room that size you could so a perpetual grow room and harvest around a pound every two weeks. takes time to get there but after its all set up you set for life. little tip[ learn hydro or aero its the only way to go if your looking for high yields or loads of bud.

How do you do this every 2 weeks 100+ plants?

deff look into the insulation.panda film or visqueen wont really hold much heat after the lights go out. next time your in home depot look into R 134 insulation sheets. u can find them in the roofing section.there cheap and made of foam.i live by these things they are amazing for the price and will hold room temp verry well.

no. I will be using a 6 14 plant aero systems. 3 for veg and 3 for flower.

What you do is this. Start with 14 plants in veg in system 1. after they hit maturity clone and veg clones after root in system 2 and 3. clone again save the strongest 14 clones and send system 1 into flower. place rooted clones in system 1. every three weeks from then on you move veg to flower one system at a time placing clones in veg and moving vegging plants to flower the plants in flower are there for 9 weeks in each system. so you basically set up a cycle and keeps clones and vegging plants moving to flower every three weeks.

You have to start with all plants in veg then move one system at a time to flower every three weeks.

here is a diagram. Hope i didn't confuse you. I know I confused my self there for a second.

And yes 100+ plants. 108 to be exact at anyone time.

havn't finished cleaning the room yet. But I have been working on system #1. I need a few more PVC elbows and I am missing 1 12" piece of pipe to finish the unit. I should be picking them up today. I will take a few more pictures after I have finished the setup (without plumbing) and post emm. Just letting you all know where I am at at the moment.

Here is one system that is almost done. needs to be glued and also needs 1 more piece. Have to cut it though. was 1 foot short on the PVC. and i need to finish cutting the holes.

ok after a brief inspection i had 2 parts in the wrong location it is fixed now and i need to build 5 more of these bad boys. If i had the room i would have 9 of each so i could harvest every weeks but I dont have the room unless i find another place to veg. Which i just might do in the long run. each one costs about 100 bucks to build when said and done. So it get pricey. So far so good though. need to finishing drilling the holes and run the later lines and also need to finish getting the room ready for growing. dirty as hell. ok off to work. see you all when I get home.
