Ok, I started my indoor after having a good summer, despite this years season's tantrums. I have a 2'D x 4'W x 5'H Grow Hut, white interior. For lighting I have a 90wLED UFO and a 4'-2Tube ShopLight w/natural Sunshine Bulbs, also an Oscillating fan. I have a Ken'sGDP, Romulan and Purps are all 3 from clone & 3 Purple#1(Feminized) and 3 Mazar-I-Sharif from seed. The temps in the hut hover between 85-91 when everythings is on, what is a good product to "cool" things down? I have tried all 3 speed settings on the fan and the temp just goes up as the speed does, I know the optimal temp for my taste is 77-79F. I have 4" Filter/Fan combo coming, but what else can I use?

just got home and the temp was 94F, IDK y the temp shoots that high, arent the LED UFO's supposed to not cause too much heat?

hows your ventilation set up? are u pulling room air out and exhausting into the same room?

I have the ports for the tent open for now and I am waiting on my intake/exhaust fan setup to be delivered, right now I have put a tub of Ice behind the fan to cool/moisturize the air

got home and the temps only got to 91F today, still too hot tho, anyone got an idea of anything small enough to fit and cool while being economical????

What do you have on hand, just the 1 circulation fan?

Blowing the fan *across* the top of the tent exterior, over the top vent, will help draw out a larger air volume.

Have you tried unzipping the bottom of the tent, and positioning the fan *outside* to force air in from the floor? Make sure to close all the bottom openings, other than where the fan blows in. This would probably be the more effective method.

Hope the exhaust fan comes soon. Looks like your on the road to some "goodies".

Pretty much what I have been doin, thanx for the advice, gotta put some seedlings in their mix real quick and shoot to the hydro store, Ill post pix 2nite

I fed the 3 clones w/some nutes yesterday, the PPM was 250, what is the Ideal range? I used tap water, AlaskaFishEmultion(5-1-1), FloraliciousPlus and some DiamondNectar, they seem to have liked it

Got a handle on the temps? How are ya liking the UFO so far?

The temps are stable now, I think the gdp and amnesia love the light, not too sure about the others.... I might be purchasing a 2nd UFO soon

Good to hear your heat issue is under control, exhaust fan really help me keep mine at 75 to 78 degree. See pics for what fan I am using in my grow tent.

Your will love the LED, I am using 3 UFO (90W) and also a nice 126w LED panel. Also just ordered some supplemental lights for lower part of plants. Got the 126w and supp lights from below company, good insight on what to go with and good service.

have you flowered with LED before? I just added a 68w CFL(pretty big) rated same as 300w incandescent 2700k. So thats added to the ofo and the shoplight

I am newbie so all is new/first time for me. Just going into flower stage this weekend. I have 5 plants packed together under my 3 UFO (90w) Put the 3 UFO hanging on 45 degree angles surrounding all 5 plant to give be coverage up and down the plant. I have my two more plants under the one 126w LED panel.

I have all LED's but I think you are OK mixing in other type lights but again I am new guy and do not know much. Good luck with the grow.
