Time to get rolling, please revise my setup.

Whats happening everyone? I'd have to say its been about 3 years since Ive logged but it seems the forum is still doing healthy, awesome.

Alright so this is what I want to do :
    -Achieve 1gram/watt of light
-11 female plants total, starting with 30.
    -2 6" 250CFM inline fans
    -Mylar Grow Room 10' x 5' x 6' 8"
    -2 1000w HPS/MH Switchable intercooling ballasts.

Strains I will be working with are as followed :
    -White Rhino
    -White Widow
    -NorthernLights x Skunk

    My questions,
-Do you think Ill need more then the two 250CFM inline fans and a charcoal filter to hide the smell ? Or should I just double up on the filter?
-Is 2000w lighting sufficient enough for 11 females to grow 1gram/watt, If it is not, well how many watts would I need per plant to achieve gram/watt ratio.
Yes I already know that lighting is not all to gram/watt ratio, must be tempature controlled, fed right, etc etc etc. Not my first rodeo, simply is that enough lighting.
-Will vegging under the 2000w of light for month & half from seed be sufficient enough to achieve approx 450gram dry weight/plant?
-450 gram a plant is my goal, I will be LSTing the plants to provide enough light to the bottom section of the colas.

I did well off my 400w for 3 plants and achieved around 4ozs/plant, so I figure the 2000watts of lighting for 11 females should suffice?

Anyway drop a line, or any usefull information I may have over looked. Its been a few years since my last crops.

    Thanks guys!

    -Joel

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I don't think you'll near a pound per plant. At 11 plants, you'd be nearing 2.5g/W.

    Anyways! To answer your questions:

I don't think that'll be enough to cover up the smell with 11 final plants flowering off like crazy. Will you be running a cool tube?

I do believe that it's enough to get 1g/W, as long as your skills are good enough. If you get the same g/W from last grow, which was 0.84g/W, you'll end up with 3.75 pounds.

I can certainly tell you that a month and half from seed will not be enough to harvest one pound dry per plant. Try double and onwards for that kind of pull.

LSTing does sound good, but honestly, to pull a pound per plant, you're going to have a VERY dialled system. I'd even look into double vertical cool-tubed cylinders. If you harvested 4oz/plant last run with a single 400W, expect around double/triple that.

    Good luck!

I dont think its a matter of smell if the fan and filter are matched, but more a matter of will this be enough to keep 2- 1kw lights cool. I say no way.

My rule of thumb if you know what your doing is 1.5 lb per 1kw of the indica kind of stuff and 2-3lb per for sativas.

you didn't say how said plants are being grown. but from seed to get there in 6 weeks isn't impossible. you will need to flower till the last minute.

I think many people want 450g plants, truth is this is not a realistic goal for most indoor growers. I would say if you were that grower you wouldn't need to ask these questions.

Good luck and keep us all posted on the progress.

^ Sativa's will generally yield less... Or so I thought. Can anyone clarify this? I always knew that indicas yielded more (Of course with some exceptions, but I'm talking on a very general level).

EDIT: And I am also interested about the setup. Maybe let us know more about the specifics?
