My plant is about 3 weeks into flowering now and I am starting to see some differences in the plant but not major. At what week or day into the flowering process does the plant begin to produce the bud?

On a technical point of view the answer would be "it's different for every strain".

On a generalized viewpoint I would say any day now. I usually notice the big jump inbetween the third and fourth week.

It takes about 8 weeks to flower so you probably have 5 or 6 weeks left. be sure you switched to 12/12. you should have seen some case of flowering by the first week. use a magnifiying glass and check for sex organs (hairy pistills are buds, green sacs are male). in the end, add one extra week of flowering and make sure you give no nutes just fresh water so the buds suck up all the nutes from leaves. Make sure that 80-85 percent of hairs are brown.

Godbackyard I have been reading your post for several weeks since we are growing in the same way it appears. I to have a hydro bubbler set up, You are about 4 to 5 weeks ahead of me it sounds like. I have a couple of ? I would like to ask you. How tall were your plants when you put them in the Flowering Stage, What lighting are you using I'm 1000 MH for veg Have a 1000hps for Flowering. What was your growth rate per week in veg cycle and how long did you keep them in veg before you went to flowering schedule. since you have been in the flowering stage for three weeks can you tell sex know, how much have they grown in the flowering cycle at three weeks. These might be supid ? but I'm in my first grow to and I'm just wondering. Any feedback from you would be great. I would like to see some picture of your plants sometime on the board. The plants were anywhere from 15-18 inches and actually, only two made it into the flowering room and THEN, one of those turned out to be male. I think it was a hermi actually. We used 400w MH for Veg and 400W HPS for flowering ( right now ). Yes, they are on 12/12 and have been for 3 weeks now. We actually had some mishaps so our veg cycle and how fast they grew wasn't accurate. We have started a whole new grow now of AK-48 and Bubblegum and some of those are 24 inches after a month in veg ( Also, We switched to FLorescents AND MH for vegetation on this grow and for future grows ) . We just ordered a 1000W HPS for when those go in the flowering room. The one plant we have left went in at 18 inches and is now 4 feet tall. I hope I answered a lot of your questions. The one plant that made it all the way through is NWW btw. The next 12 about to enter in the flowering should be EXCITING!
