I Really would like to have bud for X-mas

Hey all you experienced grower out there, I have six plants about 8.5 to 9 inches tall they are all real bushy and growing strong, They are in a Hydro bubbler system. I would like to have a very bud x-mas and I was wondering how long does the flowering process take on average. I would like to leave them in vegatation as long as I can but plenty of time for the holidays. I know the smaller the plant the less quanity, and that it depends on kind of plants how long they need to need mature. I can tell you that 2 plants are BC Big Bud, 2 plants are Skunk #1, and 2 plants are Pender Champanye. I do have more plants also that are three weeks behind these plant and going to start some more in couple weeks to keep rolling stock. So I'm not concerned about getting less quanity the first time. Please help me have a great x-mas with your valued advice. Thanks Bizzy

Here is what I found

Hello,

With a quick glance around the net this is what I came up with.

Jordan of the Islands (Emery seeds) - BC Big Bud
- Flowering time 8 weeks.

Overgrow StrainGuide - Skunk #1
- Flowering time 45 to 50 days.

I could not find a flowering schedule for the Pender Champagne.

Hope this helps.

Peace

yu have plenty of time, i think you should wait untill they reach atleast 12 inches. 18 would be nice. it usualy takes 8 weeks for flowering. you should add one extra week and fill the resivor with fresh water for best bud quality

Thanks for the responses so quick, I have decided to wait a couple more weeks and put them in the flowering stage mid october and see if they can add a couple more inches in the veg state which i'm sure they will at the rate they are growing. I will keep you posted and try and get picture up next time I post. Bizzy

it's not a really good idea to let sativa hybrids get too tall, actually the taller plants will yeild less per cubic ft' since the light to surface ratio is decreased, giving you a smaller yeild for the extra time it took to grow, you did not mention the lamp wattage, but the plants(especialy sativas)will double or triple in size,so to induce photoperiod now at 8-9" should work out for you very well....bonbon

Thanks borbon for the advice I will put the plants in to flowering tommorow morning. My two biggest plants have reached about 11-12 inches now, and have two at around ten inches. The Pender champayne plants are still around seven Inches They seem to be going at slower rate should I wait. I should add that the Pender Champayne Plant are the smallest but are by far the bushes they are so bushy that I'm amazed they close to foot and half wide. Oh Yea I'm using a 1000 watt Mh light for veg. and going to use 1000 watt hps for flowering. Bizzy

Hello,

Cool, thanks for the reply. I too am sure that when the time comes we will be able to work something out. I have started to amass quite the collection of strains.

Talk to you later.

Peace
