I like FoxFarm, but I haven't tried anything else, so take that with a grain of salt. Still, the reason I haven't tried anything else is because I've been very happy with how FoxFarm products have treated me, so that says something at least.

the kids are growing up.most are starting their 4th node...however one is growing faster on one side then the other and most of them have twisted leaves (don't know if these are a big deal as i have never had this happen with my bagseed)speaking of bagseed ........i am cutting the one with the yellow leaves here in the next few days.unfortunately when i transplanted them i put them in dirt with ferts in it!!!didn't realize until i toked yesterday and it tasted like shit.....chemmy as hell.so i go check and sure anough fert dirt.so the one with yellow leaves comes down soon and i cant have her all chemy so what do i do i pull her up and put her in a bubbler..now she better flush herself!

LOL!!! Awesome. Please don't tell me it was one of those 70w security lights from home depot...that was my 1st HID too!!!! And I grew my bagseeds using walmart 'sam's choice' tomato food... hee hee. Your results are a lot better than mine were!

If you want to continue on dirt, I can't recommend ENOUGH how awesome a mix of composted manure, humus, and perlite is. Cheap, pH balanced, and GREAT.

Hang on to that security light for later... mine's been in storage for a couple years and just came out to provide heat/light in the new cloning closet. Works well for that!

i am thinking about using the 70 watter in a little cab for some breeding expieriments.i have a pink sativa that i want to cross with white widow.plus when i get some $$$$ i want to order romulan,nNLxHaze and ak48.has anyone tried nirvanas NLxHaze?depending on finances i may not order from them but if nirvanas NLxHaze comes recommended i may do it regardless of money.anyway i gotta go to work.oh yeah how do you like my reflector?

I'd bolt them to something nonconductive like a thick piece of plastic or fiberglass board. Don't forget to ground them.

    Sweet reflector, lol!

Haha, that's cool, I never thought about using street signs as reflectors! MacGuyver would be proud of you!

well got them put under the 400 today and gave them their first food.hopefully they enjoy the hell out of both and grow up into beautiful young ladies it gets a little warmer than i would like(only 80 81) so i need to get an active intake from the window.easy enough.i also got the rest of the seeds sprouted they are 1 day out of the dirt.all 10\10 made it this time only 7\10 last time.worked out perfect though because i have 17 pots..plan to put them in flower about 2 weeks after the first batch, which i will flower in about 4 weeks probably maybe a little longer maybe shorter all depends on growth.and now on to my question.........if i need to take 3 clones a week how many mothers do i need?

ps i think i am going to get a ballast kit.hopefully soon

well, i am a little disapointed in the MH.it has been 3 days with no measurable growth. branches are starting to form but i am still at 5 nodes on everything.i still need 2ish inches of growth before i clone them.i am thinking they may be getting a little rootbound so i am going to get some more potting mix so i can transplant then hopefully they will start growing better.i also had a small bug problem so i unleased the ladybugs and it seems they took care of things.i will probably put some more in there soon to kill any babies that werent born yet.i have a few new pics.it is the older ladies the younger ladies and the future ladies.and yes that is a stuffed plum supervising my girls.

Don't fret, just think of the growth UNDERGROUND!!! They could be happily growing roots!!
And it's not uncommon for growth to slow for a couple days when you make a major change in a plant's environment.

    damn!!

well shit my thread is so liked that i made it to page 2

anyway things are doing ok.my bottom leaves are curling and yellowing quite a bit though.they are finally growing again thankfully most are on their 7th node. should be taking cuttings here in the next week or so.my flowering goal is the 1st week of december for the first batch and 2ish weeks later for the second batch.fingers are crossed that at least 7 are female.

the auroura indica is proving to be much more vigorous than the white widow.WW seems that it is going to be more of a 1 cola plant while AI seems that it is gonna be a stocky bush.

here are some pics of the current setup.the pots are labled so that you can see the differance between the AI and the WW.there is also a pic of the worst set of bottom leaves.any idea of the problem?

temps top out at 82 degrees farenheight(?) but are typically 78ish,and night temp is 67-71.light is 16 inches from the top of the tallest plant.my ph is a little high.6.8ish,do you think this could be the problem with the leaves?

    edit-well itook to long.
the fan is out of a microwave that i found in the garbage.works great. i could lower my light 5 more inches if i wasn't putting my flowering plant under it for "daytime".the light is less than 6 inches away from it with no probs so i will lower the light when i harvest that plant in 4 or 5 more days.i will post a pic of it when she wakes up.And as you can see i already have fixtures hung for side lighting when everyone gets a little taller.for flower i will have the 400 and around 100 watts of cfl over 6ish square foot.(that # may grow depending how well my cloning works out)

oh yeah humidity is around 50 unless it is the day i wateredthen it is around 55 to 58
