Cool Will heat cause brown edges?

I am in the second week of vegging one plant. Everything was beautiful last night, but when I woke up this morning the edges of a few fan leaves were brown. It was actually pretty hot in there, so I think my lamps were a little too close. I raised them, hopefully this helps. Just wanted somebody to confirm that heat is the problem and that it's not a problem with soil, etc...

Thumbs up

Brown edges, could be heat, but most likly it's being over fed, that will also turn the edges brown in my opinion, if you started with good soil and added you nutes at the beginning, you shouldnt be feeding for around three weeks or so. Feed fresh water for a few days and see what happens,

If it was heat a typical leaf with heat stress that bad will show the leaf edges cupping up.
If it was fert burn typically the tip is going to show more damage than the edges of the blade.

I was wondering if that was the cause of brown tips and edges also. I have a magnifying glass and couldn't spot one mite so I know it isn't pests and I haven't given the plants anything but good 'ol water which pH was 7. And the soil's pH stays at 7 since there isn't really anything in there. Don't know what it could be so it has to be heat..any suggestions?

Heat itself won't hurt the leaves. Ask anyone who has grown in the desert SW and we'll tell you heat is not a problem as long as the roots are kept cool. Light and sun burns don't usually begin on the edges either but start where the light hits at the highest angle so burn spots appear in the middle of the leaves most often. Burnt, crispy edges are more often than not an overfeeding/overwatering problem so I'll have to agree with Crazyhorse here on this one.

Is that what is going on here? 1 pic the leaves are growing upward towards the light the other is shirvling up and yellowing bottom leaves one broad leave has brown on edge very light(this is the one I used Organic Soil 4-6-4 but added water with nuts right away.)
