I found a couple of old ceramic socket fixtures in the garage... was wondering if I should use them for some 23w CFLs or if I should just get new ones. Im really paranoid about starting a fire.
Says they are rated for 150w MAX and im interested in putting two 23w CFLs in each using Y adapters.

Any advice would be helpfull!!

This, I can help with.
Ceramic socket are the safest kine.
CFL run much cooler than incandescents.
So, lacking pictures, I'd say go for it.

Well they dont look cracked and seem to be in good condition... Thanks for the reply Weezard! I think I will give these a try along with my 90W UfO. Im excited to try LED!
