I am in the process of applying for a medicinal card. I am also reaching the end of my college career and will be hitting the job market after the next school year.

My question is this: Will potential employers be able to find out that I have a medical card when they do their background searches?

Will my receiving a medical card inhibit my ability to get a job after I graduate?

only if its a government job like federal or state i believe. Employers have no ability to find out otherwise but i guess it depends on what you are majoring in or planning to do before you decide to get a mmj card

Thanks for the input, that is kind of what i had been thinking. I am majoring in finance/international business so i guess i wont be auditing people for the irs, bummer

I worked in a high position with the county and had thorough background checks and they did not find out I had a card. Don't worry, you'll be fine.
