I got busted a few days ago for selling weed. I was caught with about 6-7 little 10$ bags. My charges are Possession of marijuana, Possession with intent to sell and then sale of marijuana. 2 Felonies and a misdemeanor.

I live in Connecticut and just curious as to what I am facing. And just to let anyone else out there in CT who is selling weed so they can 'smoke for free' or for any reason actually, don't. It really isn't worth it, under 18 or not, it doesn't matter. I have put my family in a horrible financial situation due to my stupidity. Oh and remember if you want to sell it look at what can happen, I won't be smoking anytime soon and that my friend is horrible.

hey if its your 1st time ever getting into trouble,going to court....you should get off with probation.....get a good lawyer....what part of ct you get cought in....

Not real sure about your state But it's not good.

First it all depends on priors. What's your record of past ?

That will depend on what is next. If you have no prior's. Then maybe if you get a laywer now, you can get it dropped down to just the selling felony. They will not let the selling go. If you have priors they won't let any of it go away.

Best you could hope for is, to take a plead bargain to posession with sell and deliver.

When they got me for growing, it was first offence. My nephew tried to buy from me but no go. Pissed him off and he was narcing me out. Lets say illeagle tax was on about 4 pounds. 3 felonies and 2 misdemeanors.

Plea bargained for possession with intent to sell and deliver. 1 felony.
6 months suspended sentence. 1 year probation. All signed by Judge, prossecutor and lawyer and me.

Got to court. Stand before Judge. Judge takes a minute.

Says 1 year suspended, 2 years probation without even a word from anyone.
Doubled my sentence when we had a signed deal.

Just remember it ain't over till the judge bangs the gavel.

if they didnt catch u actually seling meaning an exchange took place then theyll drop it and youll just have possesion with intent to sell. i got that myself sucks cause now i cant own a gun and getting a job is super hard but first time most definitely probation. word of advice never ever carry individually bagged weed its automatic possession with intent.
