    Lighters...

    I have a problem...i think.
I have some weed and my bro and I want to smoke it tonight.
however, I'm guessing my friends stole my pipe and bic lighter and the only lighters I have are a zippo (which im not sure even works) and one of those torch lighters.

I was just going to make a simple bowl out of a can, but I was wondering if it would be bad/dangerous to use one of the lighters above. And I'm thinking matches wouldn't be an excellent idea either.

I've found that matches burn hotter and help keep it cherry, as long as you make sure to let the sulfur burn off first.

I love my Ronson I picked up at Wally world. Gotta be careful though, the burning heat goes alot farther then the flame itself... got myself a few times with it.

Works wonders on lighting blunts and joints, quick poke into the flame and its burning nice and even and on twisted jays... no paper hit. /happydance

I don't think it would be dangerous to use any of the lighters you mentioned, but smoking out of a can is a very bad idea.

If it reaches a certain temperature it can be hazardous I believe....thats why I was wondering. A regular lighter wouldn't be able to reach that temperature, if I'm correct.

Torch lighters are better than butane lighters I think. You only have to light the bowl for about a second and its cherried nicely.
