Thread: Stoner Jack in the Box commercial.

Man I was stoned and this hilarious jack in the box commercial that was so clearly made for stoners.

This kid in a big ass old chevy van is sitting at the drive through, zoned out and chines eyed, and the lady says "are you still there?"

And he snaps into and says "uh... yeah... .can i get..." in a stoned voice. there is a bobble head doll on the dash. it speaks "don't worry about man, stick with the classics. like these tacos, with lettuce and tomatoes 2 for 99c"

the stoner says "How many should I get?" and the bobble head puts his thumb and says "Thirty!"

the stoner makes a stone face and in a stoner way says "THAT'S WHAT I WAS THINKING!"

anyone else seen it?

well its funny/great ...that they aimed a commercial at stoners...that means were being noticed

and they're aiming "30 tacos" at us, which means they obviously think we're some kinda weird fatass with a bottomless stomach... i can only eat 10 before i puke it all back up =/

i never seen that commercial but i seen a commercial where a cop pulls up to this parked car with foggy windows...then the cop shines his flashlight at the car and the driver of the car rolls down the window and there are 2 stoner lookin dudes with chinky eyes grubbin on some food....it was hilarious

no but i'd like to see it, sounds funny... i only got one problem with the idea..
since when the hell would weed make you see things such as that... i wish the assholes behind these anti-drug commercials could atleast get the right effects with the right drugs =/

i kno thats why it's funny as hell, i've never been high enough on anything to make my papers talk to me, and driving on weed is fine, if ur a decent driver when ur not high, u just have to remember the basics

I think slipknot's problem might stem from the representation. Advertising, and just the media has sooo much influence on the public at large. We don't need these misunderstandings. Non-users will come to think that when you drink alcohol, everyone becomes attractive, get's half-naked, and makes the party happen. But when you smoke bud you apparently snap and start having conversations with bobble heads?
Where's the commercial where the three guys go out for an evening on the town, smoke a couple joints, go to a show, meet some girls, and have a great time without running over some kid at the end?

Having said all that. Sounds like I still would have laughed at Jack in the Box commercial. Haven't ever seen it on though...

This is great. I had always assumed that fast food companies avoided stoner commercials because they didn't want to be seen as supporting an illegal activity (for legal reasons, that is), but it's cool that Jack in the Box said fuck it and decided to go for it.

I'd totally start eating there now, but there's no Jack in the Box anywhere near where I live. I don't even know if there's one in my State! Looks like it's back to Denny's for me....

I just ate there after 5 bowls of Mau Wau with my friend. It was fan-fuckin-tastic.

don't think it's the "idea" of the commercial that makes it funny... i think it's more about the faces and the way the "stoner" in it actually says his lines... it's like if he was extremely baked and all slowly like is like "yea! dude that's what i was gonna say!"

Jack in the Box is so awesome when stoned...I usually just go there with friends and we order a ton of tacos...they do look at you kinda funny though when 4 people with red/glazed eyes order 30 or so tacos...

lol i think i went to that commercial one time but it seems like every show was made for stoners when your stoned.. like pepl will look stoned to you when you are stoned its so weird


hah one time i was watching like critics choice awards blazed off my ass and i couldnt stopp laughing cuz the people looked so funny cuz they kept messing up their speeches and shit.

Yeah i totally saw that one, it was a commercial for M.A.D.D., Mothers Against Drunk driving, which i find interesting beacuse weed is not like beer at all
