Light colored hash mean it could be Lebonese hash...one of the most potent kinds of hash.
$50 for 2g's, that's $25 a gram. I would spring for it this once, but anytime after that, I wouldn't get it. For that price it should be worth it. It may be some time before you see it again, so I'd do it because we never have hash here.
I haven't smoked hash, in about, 3 or 4yrs now. None to be heard of.

i can get nice hash for 10 a gram, its fun to smoke but i like nice frosty hairy buds more

If you have weed, you have hash. Take your buds and rub them lightly over a very fine screen. What falls through is 100% unrefined pure hash. I sometimes do this with my small buds, but i use my bubblehash bags and the ice method on my leaf to extract the THC. Best dern stuff i ever smoked.
Once you get a nice pile of Kief, apply a small flame to the top of the pile to melt it a lil and while its still warm you can roll it into a ball. Dont burn the pile. Just get the flame close enough to cause melting of the trichomes/kief/future hash.
