Thread: Would this work?

I just had this crazy idea:
If you want to get high, but are going to be in public or another place where you can't smoke weed, you could take a large empty bottle and blow smoke into the bottle (don't inhale, just get the smoke in your mouth and blow it out into the bottle) do this untill it is full and quickly put the cap on the bottle. Then, when you are out somwhere where you can't smoke weed, just breath in the smoke from the bottle.

Now, assuming you had a bottle big enough to hold enough smoke, would this work?

I'm guessing the THC would somhow escape, or the smoke would go away or something.

hmmmm i think it would work to some extent. but i cant imagine the smoke just staying there forever.

To be discreet without the long come-up of eating, use a tincture under the tongue.

isnt smoke a suspension? so AFAIK probably all the particulate (tar and porbably THC due to tar being sticky) would sink to teh bottom after time, and youd be left wiht a bottle of carcinogens...yummy. Not to mention it woudl be the ULTIMATE in stale smoke and taste aweful. Not to mention you still gotta blow that smoke out somewhere, its probably even LESS discreet than a pipe.

o yeah, i forget all about the nasty taste.

I suppose that it would work, but the smoke would probably taste pretty bad, not to mention that it's kinda strange to walk around with a bottle full of smoke. And even still, if you did do it.. that bottle, even if it was like a two liter.. that's only like 2 hits.

Just roll a joint and stick it in your pocket and go outside and toke that shit.

it wouldent work, because the good chemicals that get you "high" will stick to the walls of the bottle... i doubt inhaling out of that bottle after 5 mins will even give you a high. it might work im not sure tho, try it out one time i guess

That'd smell enough for everyone to know what was going on, unless you went in your car or something, in which case you might as well just smoke a bowl.

Have you ever tryed to blow smoke into a bottle before? Give it a shot. Come on now. . . we learned things like this in high school.

You've got to remember that the entire point of setting fire to ganj in the first place is because the heat vaporizes and activates the THC for absorption through the lung tissue. As smoke cools the THC de-activates, or just precipitates onto whatever avalible surface is handy. This is why bong hits can go stale. And why holding smoke in until you're blue in the face has no additional benefit (and probably quite a bit of damage to the lungs). The time it takes for smoke to go stale is debated in some circles (or maybe just my own) but I can't imagine being able to carry around a bottle of it and having any desirable effects.

Listen to the poster who suggested tincture. A couple drops under the tongue and you could be flying...

This isn't going to work because there is already air in the bottle. Putting your mouth over it and blowing in will only increase the overall pressure of the bottle. I doubt you would get any smoke on the bottle without turning purple. You would need a rubber glove or something that would expand due to an increase in pressure.

If you want to have something to take with you....

Vaporize the pot with a heat gun. With a water bong, get a cut plastic bottle (water bottles are best because they are easy to get over the opening) and get it to slip over the bong. Drill 2 holes in the plastic cap of the bottle. Stick medical tube into the corners of deflated ziplock bags and connect the tubes to the 2 holes in the cap. Vaporize until the bag is full of smoke. My friend does this everyday and has a bag of vap'd pot in his passenger seat as he drives 30 miles to class. No loss of flavor/stale/potency.

just take a bounce blower with you
p.s. if you dont know what a bounce blower is ill explain it to ya, you take a tube like objuct like a toylet paper roll and stuff bounce sheets in it and just blow ur hoots through it no smell what so ever and it smell like the bounce sheet snot like weed. happy tokin

You can do that with a Sobe bottle. we do it at work all the time. It's like a steam roller.
