I've been wanting to get a MMJ card for a while now but I don't know if I qualify. I have angioedema which is basically a swelling disorder. The symptoms consist of swelling and hive outbreaks that happen at random. I've had this for 2 years now and have been on a number of medicines since then. Marijuana however has helped way more then what doctors give me. Marijuana helps the pain that is caused by the swelling. I am usually stressed out, depressed, and have some anxiety problems which usually cause more hive outbreaks marijuana keeps me relaxed and helps me function better. Also when I am experiencing hives and swelling when I have some marijuana it makes the swelling go down. So is that enough to get a MMJ card or what? Also I have MediCare will they give me the 50% discount that MediCal Patients get? Lastly where would be the best place to go considering that I live in San Jose California?
