I've tried several different brands of clear rolling papers and while all have their strong points I have to say my favorite is definitely JOB Crystal. These are stable without being too thick, roll with ease, stay sealed properly without gum, burn evenly, have no taste, no odor, and don't run. I really like these papers and will probably always keep a pack on hand in the future. If you've tried this brand what did you think?

I've never tried the job clears I use the aleda, or trip just cause there cheapest here and their the originals. checkit

I dont use any other paper now, just clear if your burnin dank buds it burns and tastes soo good

I like how slow they burn, but you gotta be careful when you roll them, because they have a tendency to "canoe"... I found by getting enough of the paper wet to go all the way around, and letting them dry for 10 minutes in the roller helps alot. I switch back and forth between clear papers (j&b crystal or trip) and 100% hemp papers (puff, hempire, and pure hemp).

I'm really digging these papers. I can really get a tight, even joint every time with these. They pull easy and burn slow. When I got these I also got a pack of generics called Phantom Clears. Anyone ever heard of these? They smoke kind of harsh. Worst clear brand I've tried thus far.

They definitely DON'T contain plastic. Most companies use rice paper, and I've seen rice that goes clear when boiled. I'm just surprised they didn't think to make these sooner. I just twisted a nice one. Have a look. My trusty roach box is holding it for me.

Their made outa vegtable cellulose, basicaly they make it from vegitable oil, they are the healthiest form of rolling paper, only their not paper

i have been using JOB crystals for 2 years now...not only my favorite clear paper, but if I am not rolling a cone (Smoking masters..silver pack!) i only roll with crystals...much cleaner..i hand roll, i can see using a machine making it canoe...but they are cleaner than hemp or bleached rice papers....good pick!

i've only used clear rolling papers once when i was chilling with my cousin, i think the brand name was Tripp or something. They rolled pretty well, the thing i liked best about them was that they didnt rip when i licked them. sometimes when im rolling with small zig zags as soon as my tongue touches the paper, everything just falls apart, but the clear papers had a sturdy, plasticy feel to them which i really liked. If I ever find them again i'm definitely gonna buy them.

Im not a big fan of those clear papers, i find that they have a weird, almost plasticy taste about them (even though i know they are completely natural). But I do like the fact that you can see inside what your smoking.

To be honest i'd rather use Bob Marleys or OCBs.

I havnt used clear papers before but they look dank! I would love to try some some time.

I think I'm going to have to look for these when I go to buy some papers.

its funny that i came across this thread because i was at the gas station the other day and they had all kinds of papers, including the JOB Crystals and i got a pack and then came home and saw this thread.

after using them, they are probably the best papers ive used. they are really easy to roll, they burn slower than normal paper, you can taste the buddah so much better, and they look fuckin cool. i dont know if its just me but after you start smoking the papers, it seems that the joint begins to tighten up on its own a little bit..

anyway, they are my new favorite rolling paper

you need to roll these super-tight to make them work right though and that is difficult if you only have a little bit. I use hemp paper because the burn is so much more consistent to me.
