well you usually cough because idk your lungs arent used to the smoke for example i dont cough if i take a regular hit of weed but if i breathe in a cigarette i cough immediatley its because i guess your not used to the smoke sorry if that doesnt make sense im pretty baked

I usually brush my teeth right before my last nighttime smoke, and I notice that (probably because of the mouthwash) since my mouth feels all clean and fresh and cool I can barely feel hits going down. Same kinda thing - I love it!!

I am gonna try a cough drop some time during the day and see how it works. Good idea!

Nah, that's not a placebo. Placebos are strictly of the mind. This kind of effect is a physical effect of using cough drops before/during a smoking session.

damn...seems like itd work. Im going to try it. Although does it seem like it cools the smoke down? Because if its still real hot smoke with big hits then the cough drop wont really help anything because the hits burns my throat more than I actually cough....

awesome dude, great idea. i tried it, and i loved it! (i usually don't cough, but i have asthma, so sometimes coughing is inevitable, especially since i pretty much smoke all day every day) i used a cough drop along with my bong, and in my bong i used just ice, no water (smoooooooth hits). both of these together made it so i didn't cough at all! not once! soooo yeah dude, thanks for the idea
