1231 - Hashish is introduced to Iraq.
1271 - 1295 - Journeys of Marco Polo in which he reports the use of Hasish.
1378 - Turkish Ottoman Emir Soudoun Scheikhouni issues first edict against hashish.
1494 - Hemp paper making begins in Britain.
1563 - Queen Elizabeth I, passes a law requiring all landowners with over 60 acres to grow cannabis crops or face a £5 fine.
1776 - United States Declaration Of Independance is drafted on cannabis paper.
1798 - Napeleon declares a total prohibition among soldiers returning to France.
1842 - Queen Victoria's personal physician prescribes her cannabis for cramps, she claimed it to be 'one of the most valuable medicines'.
1843 - Le Club des Hachichins, or Hashish Eaters Club, established in Paris.
1850 - Hashish appears in Greece.
1856 - British tax ganja and charas trade in India.
1875 - Cultivation for hashish introduced into Greece.
1884 - The British Raj in India conduct one of the first studies into cannabis use and conclude it is harmless and helpful.
1893 - 1894 - 70,000 to 80,000 KG of hashish LEGALLY imported into India from central Asia each year.
1901 - A Royal commission concludes that cannabis is relatively harmless and not worth prohibiting.
1912 - Cannabis control is raised at the first International Opium Conference.
1915 - Cannabis begins to be prohibited for non-medical use in the US. In; California(1915), Texas(1919), Louisiana(1924), and New York(1927).
1928 - NOW - Cannabis is made illegal in Britain following the passing of the dangerous drugs act 1925 (the bastards).
