Agreed. I never use a filter/mouthpiece with a joint. Just try to roll a tighter joint next time or if all else fails buy a rolling machine. You'll have a perfect joint every time.

I've actually never heard of this (I'm new to smoking only a few months). I don't smoke cigarettes would I know if I was smoking tobacco in any of the joints that I've smoked?

yea i just took out the mouth piece and just twisted the end it was in. i plan on smoking it by myself tomorrow,haha i reckon i will be really fucked up because i have like no tolerance yet.

I prefer mouthpieces. It keeps the joints structure and keeps your lips from getting burned. I always use a mouth piece. Use like the back of a pen or other stick-like thing to pack the back in before you twist it. Keeping it packed in keeps the joint burning straight and slower. I always use only cannabis. Here's a fatty I rolled a while ago that I shared with a friend

some people argue that having a joint with a mixture of nugget and tobacco burns better, but i disagree, and i like the way cannabis-only joints burn.

in terms of filters, i always use one. it prevents the end of the joint getting "juiced" and closing up, and you can smoke it right down to the filter and toss it opposed to carrying around a roach.

ok so i put the mouthpiece back in. but a couple centimeters after the mouthpiece there isnt much weed and i didnt roll it tight enough in that spot so it bends a little in that area.is there anyway i can pack the mouth piece down further with like a pen to make it not as flemsy in that one spot?

whenever that happens to me, i have to roll again. or else, i find when i try to push the filter up, it makes the weed too tight in that area and doesn't smoke well. i say roll again, until you get the perfect joint, then smoke it. it'll be so much better

Loose roaches (mouth piece) can be fixed by re-rolling the entire joint, twisting around the roach a bit, making a larger roach, etc.

I usually roll with Joker King size papers so I can get them how I want them to be. I used to suck a rolling but I got much better at it. Roll it with the mouth-piece in. (I just roll up a piece of paper for the mouth-piece).Then use the back of a pencil or small stick to pack the back in. To make sure behind the mouth-piece is packed, I push the mouth-piece forward and it packs the weed tighter behind it. Then I just cut off the excess paper with sissors and have an nicely rolled joint.

Don't bash spliffs. If I roll, I always roll with tobacco. I smoke cigarettes too, so maybe its just smokers preference. But I don't think theres any way to beat a nicely rolled spliff of some Grandaddy Purp and Bali Shag tobacco.

Wow, thats an Eastern canadian thing eh? There is another reason I'm not too fond of Eastern Canada, so its true there is a lot of crap weed in Eastern Canada? I'm very proud to be from BC!

I live in England and no-one around where I live (in the midlands) has heard of smoking a spliff without tobacco which annoys me because I hate the taste of it so now I only smoke the joints I roll. Pure all the way

the tradition probably came from France since they were the ones who invented rolling papers. before then tobacco and cannabis were smoked in pipes or tobacco leaf (cigars). they probably brought papers to the carribean when the colonized it and started filling them with the native green leafs
